Bitcoin was once a fringe currency, known only to a few cypherpunks and coders. Today, however, it is a mainstream investment asset, especially among Millennials. And these youth of today actually prefer bitcoin and cryptocurrency as compared to traditional stocks, when it comes to investing. Even gold is losing its shine as a store of value and safe haven.

And it’s not just the Millennials that are diving into bitcoin investments. It’s also mainstream big institutions like investment firms Greyscale and Microstrategy. Add to that the legacy social media giants Twitter (and their parent company Square) as well as mainstream payment gateways like Paypal, and you have a long term recipe for massive bullish price hikes in the months and years to come.

Bitcoin has come of age in 2020. Almost all the freshly mined bitcoin is now being bought up just as soon as it comes onto the market. Demand is on the verge of outpacing supply, which is a clear path to the moon. When the young investors of today see how much massive money printing is going on with the dollar, they are obviously losing confidence in it.

After all, a currency is based purely on confidence, and with all the QE (quantitative easing) as the Fed prints dollars out of thin air, any intelligent investor knows that this will only lead to inflation and a devaluation of the currency. In ancient times it was the clipping of their gold coin that led to the collapse of the mighty Roman Empire. Also the debasing of the metal gold coins with cheaper copper led to the same collapse in value as we see today.

History may well be repeating itself, and historically currencies have been known to last only 100 years or so before being usurped by a new currency. The dollar has had its 100 year reign, and now it looks like the era of the digital currency has arrived. Bitcoin is now competing with the dollar as a world currency, something we have never seen before.
 
It could be the current political uncertainty that is leading to the dollar’s weakness against the Euro at present, but whatever it is, it’s bullish for bitcoin. The more the dollar falls, the higher bitcoin will climb in value. 

In time other CBDCs (central bank digital currencies) may emerge, as nations print their own digital token on their blockchain. However, it will be centralized and controlled whereas bitcoin is still sovereign and independent of national control, being mined throughout the planet in various countries simultaneously. This is the strength of bitcoin and the power of the code, as written by Satoshi Nakamoto.
As sentiment in the dollar declines, and the debt to GDP ratio becomes unsustainable in America, bitcoin will continue to rise in popularity. All we have to do is watch and wait. Invest now and be on board as this rocket launches to new stratospheric heights and ultimately to the moon. 

Right now is one of the most promising times in the historic bitcoin cycle, just after the halving, and price is set to continue on its macro bull trend for the next year or more, so now is the time to be “stacking sats”, buying the dip, and accumulating as much bitcoin as possible.
