The planet is entering one of the most challenging times in its modern history, from a social and economic point of view. The coming few months will be hard on entire nations of people. These last months of 2022 will lead to an even more depressed 2023, from a macroeconomic perspective. All the pundits are forecasting it.  Today the GBP British Pound fell to its worst value in over 20 years against the dollar. The Indian rupee fell to its lowest value in history against the dollar. Leading as well as emerging markets are crashing, as their currency collapses over 20% in value overnight. The Turkish Lira is tumbling, as are numerous others. All these nations will find their citizens with less purchasing power in coming months. In fact it is already here. My South African Rand has fallen from an average of ZAR15 to ZAR18 for a dollar this month. That is about a 20% loss in value. And since interest rates have been hiked and most of the worldβs sovereign debt is owed in dollars, our nations all suddenly find themselves collapsing under the debt burden based on crippling interest repayments. The global economy is breaking right now. And even if some nations have a strong economy, is their even any food and fuel to buy? Germany, the leading EU economy is shrinking massively now due to their gas supply being throttled. Also food is scarce and will lead to global famine in coming months. It is a convergence of several perfect storms. This is a dark moment for humanity across the globe as we enter the next great depression ahead of a now live WW3 scenario. The third world war has already started, it is NATO versus Russia/China and it has many front lines. The coming year ahead will see power scarcity lead to blackouts in Germany and UK potentially, thus crippling their GDP and exacerbating the depression. Already in my South Africa, we have daily power cuts of four to ten hours a day, depending on the strain on the power providers. So with less food, less fuel and less purchasing power, our global humanity will enter years of struggle leading to societal upheaval in places. Our governments will collapse and there will be no protection for the innocent, as people take the law into their own hands. Shoplifting is exploding in USA and will become outright looting in time. Police will be absent and we will have to fend for ourselves. For example McDonanlds restaurants are pulling many of their hundreds of stores out of Chicago right now due to mass crime and lawlessness affecting their establishments. This is a new era of increasing challenge for everyone right now. I see the signs and news reports everywhere. No one is going to be immune from this fallout in the global economy. So the solution is to become self-sufficient in resources and security. Diversify your assets for wealth preservation, Grow your local community network by getting to know your neighbors. Buddy up for the coming storm. It could last years. Life will go on and there are always wild cards and uncertainties that could be in our favor as the elite push for global power and domination. The unipolar world is over and the multipolar world is emerging with the east battling the west for hegemony. Letβs hope we are able to survive the fallout. Our freedoms and human rights may be lost in the process if we allow it. So get out of the cities and head for the countryside where self-sufficient, decentralized communities can thrive far from the masses who will be in more chaos in the congested cities when the food and fuel runs low. Indeed the load shedding is here to stay it seems, for years to come. And it may get worse as the power plants come to the end of their life cycle. The new power plants were built in recent years but they are not working well from the start so we're limited in options. It doesn't affect me directly at all, since my income is not dependent on electricity. I also have a solar panel and battery kit which I use for the scheduled two hour power cuts. And I just go for an outdoor hike or beach walk if the power goes out. The businesses must be cracking under the strain though, so the economy will probably shrink into a recession or worse for some years, which could lead to civil unrest. So I'm always alert and prepared for crime, as a South African, though have not experienced it for ten years since my last criminal attack hehehe.
