**Invoking the force**
Once outside the village the two monks made their way back to their waiting donkey, retrieved their hidden belongings and followed the hidden path back into the forest for a mile or so. At the large banyan tree they stopped and made camp. The stream was nearby, so Yasho took a bath and donned his monk’s robes once more, made of pure wool which was considered permanently clean and, in fact, self-cleaning, as well as highly insulating. He then sat down under the banyan tree on a seat of kusha grass, overlaid by a deer skin, which was used by yogis to deter snakes and other dangers while they went into long states of meditation.

Bishnudas stayed nearby on guard, lest tigers roamed, and Yasho proceeded to withdraw his senses and focus his mind internally, pointing his attention toward his pineal gland or third eye located in the crystal palace at the centre of his skull. That, he decided, was the temple where he would meet his divinity in whatever form the divinity chose to manifest himself or herself to him while he was in deep trance. Remembering the techniques he had perfected during his 39 months of solitary meditation in the high mountain cave, Yasho slowed down his breathing and chanted his personal mantras mentally to himself. Soon he was in a lucid dreaming state, where all awareness of the outside world around him dissolved and he saw himself inside the crystal palace temple space, a visualization he had created to emulate and enhance his meditation upon the pineal gland.
Once inside his virtual reality space, Yasho enhanced his focus upon the celestial vision of a giant palace made of crystal which was now his meditation. He paid more attention to the design and architecture of the temple, he observed the shining crystal walls, built out of sparkling stones that reflected the light of the sun and shone like a glistening glacier. He entered the palace through the vast double doors, just like the doors of his own monastery temple hall, but only made of diamonds and gemstones, as opposed to wood and iron. Upon entering the palace doorway, he found himself within a massive open and empty meditation hall. In the distance at the centre of the room with its massively high ceilings, he saw a ruby- coloured throne. He approached the throne, gliding across the tiled marble floor. All the walls of the octagonal temple hall appeared like mirrors that reflected the walls opposite to it. White and gold were the predominant colors of the overall room in which he found himself. As he approached the throne, Yasho was blinded by the dazzling effulgence that emanated from it. Be stepped closer and closer, head bowed, until he perceived an ancient person seated upon the throne all clad in white. It was impossible to see the details of the person’s features due to the dazzling rays of light that were being emitted. Yasho approached the throne and bowed down to the deity seated there, touching his head to the marble tiles on the floor.
Yasho held this vision within his mind’s eye for some time until it crystalized and sharpened. He recited prayers and mantras in Sanskrit, offering respects to the noble deity seated upon the throne. He also focused upon describing the calamity that had befallen the entire village and, in fact, all the villages in the entire land. He prayed for healing rays to shine from the sparkling throne and effulgent deity seated there so that they spread throughout the village nearby, less than a mile away. After several hours had passed, the sun was beginning to approach the western horizon and Bishnudas noticed Yasho begin to stir and show signs of external consciousness. As Yasho returned to waking consciousness, he reported to Bishnudas the visions he had perceived.
“I contacted the master of all mystics” Yasho said. I saw him seated upon a dazzling crystal throne. I explained the current dilemma and he offered to shed his healing rays upon the village, soothing the frequencies so that all within it might be shifted to a place of healing and harmony. That included the government militia, as well as the citizens.” Bishnudas listened with understanding and urgent interest. Yasho continued, “I saw a ray of healing energy shoot out from the throne and pierce another seat at the far end of the massive temple hall. Upon that second seat was a smaller light, more masculine, compared to the central one, which was feminine. And the central throne was being bathed by a light which shine down from directly overhead and seemed to charge it with powerful healing rays of celestial light. In this way the central throne acted as a prism and directed the celestial rays to the secondary seat at the far end of the crystal palace temple hall. After that I felt healed and saw the rays of light spread in all directions for miles, so that the nearby village was totally bathed in the soft, gentle healing light, like that of the moon on a clear night.”
Bishnudas heard the description and answered, “Yes I saw you begin to glow with an indescribable radiance just now Yasho Das Babaji”, addressing the yogi with great respect based on the experiences he had witnessed. “I felt so uplifted when it shone past me. I felt bathed in healing light.”
“But we must go” said Yasho in response. The whole kingdom needs healing, particularly the capital city, where the new government regime has been installed by outside forces from a more distant land. I cannot invoke the full power needed to really send such healing while I’m here in this forest. I need to return to my cave high in the mountains where the frequencies are purest and undiluted, and where my meditation can be least disturbed.” Bishnudas understood the predicament and so he packed their goods onto the back of the donkey and they headed away from the village and back into the depths of the forest, following the barely visible trail that led them back to the monastery two days hike away.
