 Once again grateful to be able to take part in this weekly musical experience, this time in week 92 with the theme "Love of my life" 

 As always brothers and sisters of the Hive Open Mic family, it is a pleasure to be able to share with all of you another week of live music, another week of fun, passion, connection and inspiration around a common theme. And since we are talking about the theme, this week I decided to give a touch of "humor" or "sarcasm" and "irony" to my participation with the song that I selected, since as you can see the lyrics of the song are quite controversial.

 Contrary to what most people believe, "Used to Love Her" is not a song inspired by a woman, but rather, as Guns and Roses rhythm guitarist and songwriter Izzy Stradlin himself put it: "I had the idea of writing this song while I was listening to the radio, and a guy was complaining that his dog got run over, and then he said "I used to love her but I had to kill her" other than that the song is written as a joke, just a fantasy originated by the peculiar phrase that the guitarist heard on the radio and that would serve as inspiration to compose this song.  *Una vez más agradecido de poder tomar parte en esta experiencia musical semanal, esta vez en la semana 92 con el tema "Love of my life"*

 *Como siempre hermanos y hermanas de la familia Hive Open Mic, es todo un placer poder compartir con todos ustedes una semana más de música en vivo, otra semana de diversión, pasión, conexión e inspiración en torno a una temática común. Y ya que hablamos de la temática, esta semana decidí darle un toque de "humor" o de "sarcasmo" e "ironía"  a mi participación con la canción que seleccioné, ya que como podrán notar la letra de la canción es bastante controversial*

 *Al contrario de lo que la mayoría de la gente cree "Used to love her" no es una canción inspirada en una mujer, sino, como lo dijo el mismo guitarrista rítmico de Guns and Roses y compositor de la canción, Izzy Stradlin: "tuve la idea de escribir esta canción mientras escuchaba la radio, y un tipo se quejaba de que habían atropellado a su perra, y luego dijo: yo solía amarla pero tuve que matarla" más allá de eso la canción está escrita a modo de broma, sólo una fantasía originada por la peculiar frase que el guitarrista escuchó en la radio y que le serviría de inspiración para componer este tema.
