Came out from China's CCID (China Electronic Information Industry Development ) research center as a result a image below. i'm quite suprise that Steem somehow manage to get into the top 4 after Ethereum, Tron and EOS.
This report is also being biased by alot of cypto community while bitcoin, the first cryptocurrency didnt made into top 5 list of the ranking. 

Based on the previous assessment from 23 march 2019, Steem Blockchain assessment result : Basic-tech is 86.1 Applicability 9.7 and creativity 9.1. Rank 10.
Comparte to the latest assessment 23 may 2019 , Steem Blockchain assesment result : Basic-tech is 85.3 applicability 9.7 and creativity 16.6 .. Rank 4
although Steem Blockchain still had a lowest applicability compare to all crypto in this list.

"The basic technology mainly assesses the level of technical realization of the public chain. The main points of investigation include the function, performance, safety and decentralization of the public chain. The sub-index accounts for 64% of the total index. In terms of the basic technology sub-index, Among them, the Steem Blockchain ranks have optimized the efficiency of the block, and the basic technology ranking has improved since last period.


 Applicability mainly evaluates the comprehensive level of public chain support for practical applications. The investigation includes four aspects: node deployment, wallet application, development support and application implementation. In terms of applied sub-index, the top five are Ethereum, NEO, Nebula chain, wave  and ontology, which are completely consistent with the previous period. However, the data shows that only 11 of the 35 public chains have an increase in the applicability index, and the index has declined overall as compared to the previous period. 


Innovation focuses on continuous innovation in the public chain, including developer size, code updates, and code impact. In terms of innovation, the top five are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Application Chain, EOS and Wave. The application chain has updated a large amount of underlying code in the last month. The cloud storage chain, the Steem Blockchain, and Verge's innovation sub-index increased significantly compared with the previous period, becoming the three public chains with the largest increase since our previous assestment. "

It is reported that CCID's global public chain technology evaluation work is organized and implemented by CCID (Qingdao) Blockchain Research Institute, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. The first evaluation index was released in May 2018, and the evaluation index was released every two months from the beginning of this period.
