Without prophecy the people are rampant; But he who keeps the law is blessed. Proverbs 29:18

One of the reasons why, we do not see that our life is as good as the word of God establishes, it is because we do not know our purpose in this life, therefore we have no vision and we do not know, if the path in which we walk is correct.

Thus we end up doing things that only cause us exhaustion and we throw them away quickly. My leader (Pastor), usually says "He who does not know where he is going" is to give us to understand that we need a vision that focuses our life towards a purpose that causes satisfaction and well-being, thus obtaining the desired results.
Having a vision simplifies things, when you are not clear about your purpose, you will try to do too many things (activities) at the same time, which causes stress, internal conflict and confusion.
You barely have enough time and energy to do the will of GOD. Not finishing things (activities, tasks) can be a sign that you are doing much more than what GOD has asked you to do. Correct vision leads to a less complicated lifestyle and a healthier work pace. You will only have peace if your approach is correct.

A vision gives direction. If you want your life to positively influence others, consult with GOD and then do what you put in your heart. Then those who feel passion for what you are doing, will give you the help and you will know what is the way you must follow to achieve the purpose. Do not confuse activity with productivity. The diffused light has limited incidence, but when concentrated in a laser it can cut the steel.
You should know that what overwhelms or exhausts you is not overwork but work without purpose. The true joy of life, is to enjoy with passion the work that is done, knowing that what is being done will be a blessing for others and therefore for your life, we must understand that the world will never be dedicated to making you happy, that you will make the world happy.

When you have a vision, it transcends future generations, so that will be your legacy to humanity. As simple as it seems people will remember you for what you have done. What memories will they have of you? More good is the good name than the many riches, and good reputation more than silver and gold ... "Proverbs 22: 1
