It's time for the ZAPFIC Monday challenge for Week #48. The prompt this week "belong" presented the opportunity to address the issues facing college students. Yes, the feeling of belonging and being part of groups that may last beyond the college years are admirable. However, some activities are not worth the time and effort. They may result in even loss of life as has been documented.

**My story is below:**

Andre's friend begged him not to go. 

He attended the college for access to that fraternity.

Yearning for acceptance, he brushed aside the warning knowing the group was suspended for a prior incident. 

Drink in hand, he headed to the function.
