This microfiction story is for the prompt ***"time to get up"***. It reminds me of getting ready for an appointment. I'm always sluggish and tend to wait until the lat moment. With this theme in mind, I wanted to share a ZAPFIC50 story to be told in exactly 50 words. The challenge was created by @felt.buzz.

**Below is my story.**

Rosalyn rose early to ensure her husband ate before his long doctor's appointment. "Time to get up!"  she yelled. 

Remond felt ill but smiled as breakfast smelled awesome.

He attempted to answer and move his left leg. Neither responded.

Rosalyn dialed emergency. 

Paramedics arrived. Diagnosis: Transient ischemic attack (TIA).

Pre-stroke.
