##### (1) What brought you online, and why did you choose your unique username?

About ten ears ago, my daughter suggested I go online and sign up for this Paid to Click program to give her a referral. I had no idea what it was about. She said that I could make money from it.  I did go online and sign up. From there I learned about the online business of viewing advertisements to earn cash and credits to promote your own ads.

I joined the program with a generated username from an online name generator. Can't even remember what it was. The term "clicking" was used to identify the task a person was doing at those particular sites while viewing the ads. One day my daughter called and asked what I was doing. My response was "just clicking." So from there my new username was born.

##### (2) What is your favorite sports activity and why?

My favorite sport is professional football in the U.S.'s National Football League. Not playing of course; just a spectator. We love it so much that our family purchased season tickets to the Houston Texans football team. We travel there during the game season and "tailgate" with the rest of the crowds. It's a fun activity we've been engaged in for many years. Our first season tickets was for the former team, the Houston Oilers. Those were some trying days, at say the least. I remember my husband and daughter would attend the games when it seems like they were only two out of maybe 10 fans in the stadium.

I'm a huge fan and good cheerleader. And not the one you see on the field flipping, turning, and dancing. I'll leave that to the professionals. I just sit in the stands and waive my rally flag. For the past several years, after my back and knee surgeries, I could no longer attend and walk the required distance to the stadium. I allow other family members attend in my place while I stay home and enjoy on television.

##### (3) What place in your city, state, or country would you recommend?

In my state of Texas, I' recommend one visit San Antonio, Texas. It' the location of famous battle for the independence of Texas. The cause was the Texas Revolution. The place the battle took place was [The Alamo](https://www.thealamo.org/index.html). Sadly, the battle was lost for Texas. However, the rally cry, *Remember The ALamo,* lived on as Texas went on to fight fiercely to win and eventually win obtain it's freedom.

We visited there about 15 years ago. The missions and the historical structure itself are a wonder.

##### (4) Name 3 or 4 people on Hive you'd like to meet in real life and why.

There are numerous people I'd like to meet on Hive. But one of the three people I'd love to visit with would be @deeanndmathews. Next, it would be TheTerminal's  @xcountytravelers, and @brittandjosie. The love for Hive and blogging these three have. And @xcountytravelers has an RV. We can talk RV life and lifestyles.

##### (5) What animal do you have if any, and why?

I'm allergic to animals, so I don't currently own any pets. I attempted to have a pet when my kids were small. Then I discovered two of them were allergic also. We gave up our Chow to another loving family.

##### (6) How does your Astrology sign guide your approach to online life?

Aries. Confident. Motivated, and passionate. Our disposition is supposed to be cheerful. But a fiery side will rise up if crossed the wrong way. We're direct. If we don't care for you or a situation, you'll know. And it'll be sooner rather than later.

We hate pettiness, foolishness, and unnecessary wasting of my time. Best way to a given destination is a straight line ,I'd say. And finally, if you want to know something about me, ask. Don't speculate.

I'm the same online as I am offline. Don't have time for unnecessary emotions of others that's not productive. And, I don't have time to switch back and forth. A waste of time and energy.

##### (7) What is the last book you read by a female author and why?

The last book I read was *Wild Seed*, an amazing work of fiction by Octavia E. Butler. I've witten about my love of her books. The book I like the most Wild seed. Butler once wrote that she was a 53-year old writer, who remembered being a 10-year old writer, and expects to be an 80-year old writer. Wild Seed is an amazing science-fiction book that tells of two immortals, one a man; the other, a woman. Each have immense special powers. Being a spirit, he is all powerful and can change and possess other peoples' bodies from ong distances. She is a healer, who has existed for over 350 years and had many husbands and children. She can also change shapes.

Once they finally meet, the battle of wills and wit begin as they both admire and fear each other. Who is more powerful? Well, grab youself a copy and find out.

From the information obtained in her book, Wild Seed, I discovered Octavia Butler is a world renowned author. She received the Nebula and Hugo awards. She published eleven books. Butler became the first science-fiction writer to receive the MacArthur Fellowship.

My favorite charitable organization is KIVA. It supports women around the world. I belong to a lending team at Kiva, called "Texas Cares." Kiva supports not only women, but men, families, and organized groups. I like Kiva because in tems you can do more than as an individual.

But during this health crisis, I have also been donating to the nearby local Food Banks who have helped thousands of citizens during the stay at home orders in March through May.  Their distribution more than tripled their normal capacity during those three months.

##### (9) Who is your favorite family member and why?

I know you're not supposed to have favorites, but I have a favorite niece. She is named after me. My late brother did me the honor when I was but 12 yeas old. You see, he was already ten years older than I was and started a family. I was both in awe of him and a bit itimidated also. He attempted to help me through a difficult situation when I was younger. I had no idea he was going to name his only daughter after me.

##### (10) Where do you see yourself in 5 years in your online presence.

In five years I hope to be still online and blogging. Maybe not at this pace as I'm doing now, but occasionally tellikng of my travels in my RV.
