Hello and Welcome back everyone to my weekly Saturday Savers Club progress report. After re-energizing last week, I've begun a new focus for my Saturday savings. Instead of waiting long term to invest my savings, I'm taking advantage of favorable opportunities each week. With the fluctuations in crypto prices, I was able to join in and buy on the dip while looking for new opportunities.
I'm also only a few weeks away from completing my 2nd *100 Days of Saving*.

- **Saturday Savers Club post dated 6/19** In the post above, for your information, there's lots of news of interest to Hive members, so please check it out as soon as you can. Of particular importance to me is the following that @eddie-earner and @shanibeer remind us that:
>>1. <u>*CubLife (CL)*</u>. The monthly CubLife buy takes place this week. If you want to take part, just **send SWAP.HIVE, HIVE, or LEO to @cublife by 6am UTC on 21 June 2021.** CL tokens will be issued at 10pm UTC that day. Dividends will be paid out in LEO every Friday at 9.00pm UTC. I plan to send my funds tomorrow.
>>2. <u>*Hardfork 25*.</u> After the upcoming Hardfork 25, scheduled around June 30th, interest payments will no longer be paid on liquid HBD held in your account. It's of utmost importance to read @blocktrades post [Important note for anyone holding HBD before hardfork 25](https://peakd.com/hive-102930/@blocktrades/important-note-for-anyone-holding-hbd-before-hardfork-25) so you can determine how you'll handle your HBD in your wallet before the Hardfork. I hold approximately, 50 HBD. I'll read @blocktrades' post thoroughly to determine my options to maximize the interest rate I'll receive on that amount.
>>3. <u>*Prize winnings at Saturday Savers Club*.</u> Beginning next week, Cub Life (CL) tokens will be included in the prizes you can win for your participation, along with SPI and LBI. One more reason to join in the Saturday Savers Club.

- **Cardano (ADA)**. From my savings this week, I chose Cardano as a new investment to participate in. I like the fact that it's a non-profit blockchain. ADA is the cryptocurrency. No smart contracts yet, but coming soon. I started out with a small amount for my investment strategy, about 250.

- **EDS Miners**. I purchased 1 additional miner this week. This brings my total EDS Miners to **3.39 Liquid** and **23.75 Staked**.

- **We Are Alive Community and the ALIVE Token**. On Monday, 6/14, I participated again, this time staking **13.309 ALIVE Tokens**. Remember, the *Alive On Thursday Staking Contest* is now active and held each week in which @flaxz gives away 1000 ALIVE tokens. For staking just 13.309 ALIVE tokens, I received **3.629 additional tokens were were staked to my account. I plan to participate again this week before next Thursday.

- **ETH / BTC**. I purchased a small amount of each. My Eth account is growing slowly. To date, I have acquired **.08304485; value ($197.57)**. I know it's a small amount, but I'm on a slow and steady investment pace. Acquiring and holding Btc is a bit difficult since it's the transfer coin for my transactions.

- **HIVE SAVINGS interest**. On 6/22, I'll receive **0.151 HBD** into my HBD Liquid account. On 6/30, I'll receive **0.046 HBD** into my HBD Savings account. Again, I'll review shortly my options to maximize the interest going forward.

- **100 Days of Saving Backwards Challenge** by @shanibeer and @eddie-earner. I'm only a few weeks away from completing this challenge. Remember, it's not too late to participate. Just check out the details in the post above. The challenge ends on July 31st.

- **Saturday Savers Club**. Continued my participation in the Saturday Savers Club. This week I'm continuing to save backwards per my report below.
