My 2022 Hive Recap

Hello everyone in the time blockchain. I hope you're all doing well and enjoying the weather wherever you are. Welcome to my blog. 

This is my first time posting in the India United community. It is so nice that I finally got the courage to write a post in this lovely community that has done a lot for me. 

Yesterday, a friend of mine sent me a screenshot of his 2022 hive recap. @quduus1 is a very talented writer. He joined the blockchain as a newbie, but he grew rapidly on the block chain. He achieved 1000 HP before his sixth month anniversary. One of the reasons why I appreciate him is because we have something in common- we are both dedicated and consistent. 

He sent me the link to check my 2022 hive recap and I was impressed by what I achieved last year. I joined the hive blockchain June 01, 2022 and ever since then I've been breaking records. My growth on this blockchain would have been very difficult if not for my mentors and friends that we're there to guild me. I remember when I was a lone wolf on the block chain. I had no one to guild, direct an d correct my mistakes, so I made lots if mistakes. But as time went on, I made good friends that became my family. 

My reputation was quite impressive. And I'm happy about it. My current reputation is 66.33 as shown in the image above. I say a big thanks to myself for putting up a good act. For being determined and consistent, and also for posting quality content. 

My hive power. As seen in the image above, I claimed a total of 860 Hive Power in 2022. The importance of hive power cannot be overemphasized on the blockchain. When I joined the blockchain newly, I thought hive power wasn't something necessary. But as time went on, I discovered that Hive Power is a big deal on the blockchain. Asides from curation reward, it is also a way to promote the blockchain. I powered up some of my posts to 100% payout which made it faster to achieve 860 hive power. 

I powered up a total of 500 Hive. I converted some of my HBD to hive and powered up. I remember my power up. I saw a post from a hiver about HPUD, the post got my attention and I took interest in HIve power up. The first time I powered up, I did 200 hives. The second time I powered up, I did 300 hives. Which made it a total of 500 hives. I powered up a total of 500 hive in 2022. I participated in HPUD 3 days ago and I powered up 123 hives. I presently have 1500+ Hive Power.

I made a total of 201 posts. When I joined the blockchain, I was not consistent. Some days I don't even post at all. About 3 months ago, I started posting every day. I even post twice a day sometimes. I also made a total of 0.5 videos. I don't know how they calculated this, but I made only one video using 3speaks last year. The video was in response to the Newbies Initiative. 

I made a total of 2565 replies. It is not too impressive, I know I should've achieved more than that but school work tied me down. I'm still proud of what I achieved because I was determined and consistent. 

My favorite communities. The top three communities in which I published; hive learners, homesteading and free writers. I remember when I joined the blockchain newly, I was consistent in posting in free writers, sadly I stopped. I'm hoping to go back to posting in that love community. I don't think I've ever missed a prompt from the hive learners ever since I subscribed to that community. Thanks to them, my writing skills have greatly improved.
