Many of us computer nerds that grew up in the 1980s remember getting to play with a program called LOGO.  This programming language is for making on-screen graphics.  Most of us remember a "turtle" on screen, usually shaped like a cursor or triangle or in the case of the Coleco ADAM SmartLOGO program, an actual turtle.  In LOGO, you have enter commands for movement and drawing.  The original language actually used a physical robot to draw the graphics on paper.  

When I used LOGO in school, it was to do very simple things like drawing basic shapes and spirals.  When I received SmartLOGO for my ADAM back when I was a kid, my mind was blown by the possibilities.  Besides basic shapes, I could work with sprites, make animations and music!

Here is a video I made of the software's demostrations included on the digital data pack.  I recorded it using real hardware (a Coleco ADAM computer) and in real-time, so be prepared for long boot times!
