To be honest, I would love to see a newbie who get excited about Crypto because of this ;) 

But this has some idea. We should get cryptocurrency presented and used as currency, not only some "internet investment" some people are thinking it is.

I don't think that "newbies" have a hard time understanding that crypto is a type of currency.  It's harder for them to grasp how it works.  People have been using all types of digital items (like DLC in video games) that have some type of value, but they don't have to know the basics of the blockchain or how mining works and its purpose.

This picture does explain a lot in a simple way. What I find is that people have pre-conceived notions about cryptocurrencies, bitcoin mainly.  And it goes beyond intellectual reason.
