Nice thought-provoking post. While I agree with you with you that BitCoin can be used for money laundering, the process of doing so is pretty difficult as 'cashing out' almost always leaves some sort of paper trail.

I think that the main issue right now, with not all countries regulating it, is that it's a pretty hard thing to regulate with its' decentralized network and methods of acquisition that can leave the buyer pretty anonymous. 

Russia has announced it is working on a fiat Cryptocurrency and Barbados has already launched its' own, making it one of the first to do-so.

If you can't beat em join em I guess, right?

Hi my friend - I think you are right - Bitcoin or even Altcoins - like Monero - are a simple way for the black market. It has 2 sides to the coin though: for one it makes transactions private which is good for everybody. No banks, no middleman... On the other hand it opens the doors to make private payments for criminal reasons as well. But criminals always find a way to make their deals, don`t they? So in my opinion Bitcoin is a blessing all in all and I am sure it will get stronger and stronger.

That's is why no one care. This will change soon when people get some crytop banked in thier personal account.

I hope they not will take action. But i guess they will.

Here in Thailand they just start look this thing. But the country is busy with other busniess now.

Hope no laws will get in act.

Hey @jwolf - I agree that bitcoin is likely still used for illicit purposes and it is a shame that corruption is prevalent in Romania and most or all other countries. With mass adoption the use and regular investments are increasing and the illicit aspect diminishing. Crypto is still in its infancy, it will be interesting to see how this will be handled in the future. Apparently bitcoin is not as anonymous as it was thought to be. Those are my thoughts. Cheers

I guess regular stock taxation applies to bitcoin when you dont have specific bitcoin law.
