I started reading while traveling. Just in the morning, on the plane or waiting for public transportation and such. It's so relaxing. Need to find a way to set myself to reading more while at home.

Reading is educating. That might be information or just widening your understanding in general and making you a more developed person through culture. With short attention spans nowadays we sadly read mostly junk... But is is so difficult to choose the right content. Content creation went to the roof, and content discovery is slacking behind...
Anyway, reading is better than not reading.

I've been a fan of books as long as I can remember. I love to read for fun but what I really love is when I get the feeling that I can actually learn something from a book. Some truly well written books are like works of art that reflect the author as well as the situation he wrote the book in. However, sometimes I do read what I like to call "fast food for the brain" because I just want to shut my mind off for a bit. That's what I love about books - there is such a large variety and you can find several for every occasion, every reading mood and fancy that strikes you.

I also like reading, steemit is nice place to do it !

I read to learn new things,i developed the love of reading from the time i explored why i was always shy!

I used to be so shy and i have been helped by reading books and guess what
I conquered my shyness

Since you like reading about different countries.....i just made my first Steemit withdrawal and posted our currency.......you can check out my post on my blog if you are free!

very interesting topic, I also try to read alot but loose my interest very soon..... I hope my continuous tries to make reading my habit pay off :)

Reading is the best exercise for the brains and it keeps on updating with the new  facts and knowledge. The best thing about reading blogs and forums is that they add new things from time to time but with the books it is not possible. Blogs can be edited from time to time but not in books.

You're right. I also like to read intersnye articles. But I do not like to read news about politics. My interests are society, science and space. But my children most like to read books)))

And the most important thing is you can make a post out of it,haha

i always read on steemit, is the same? ahah
