커밍아웃 합니다. 5일간의 좌충우돌 스팀잇 탐사기

<p>커밍아웃이라한 이유는 지난 5일간 제 본연의 모습을 숨기고(?) 영문 생태계에서의 스팀잇을 경험해 보고자 많은 포스팅들을 번역기 영어를 이용하여 올렸기 때문입니다.</p>

<p>그저 인터넷 카페에서 스팀잇이란 단어 하나만 보고, 무작정 가입을 하여 이것저것 시도해 보았습니다.</p>
<p><br></p>
<h3>1) 세상에! 그저 사진 한 장과 몇 줄의 인트로 뿐인데, 포스팅당 $2라니!</h3>
<p>- 가입첫날 그저 영문 블로그에서 다운받은 사진과 되도 않는 번역기 영어를 몇 줄 올렸을 뿐인데, 포스팅하자마자 막 투표를 해 주더니 순식간에 최소 2달러 이상 (어느 것은 5달러도 되는 적이 있음)의 수익(?) 오르는 것입니다.</p>
<p>- 그렇게 그 날 하루만 약 40여개의 포스팅을 한 듯 합니다. 대충 계산해 보니 하루에 100불 정도의 수익이 나는 듯 하였습니다. 물론 저는 이게 정말 순수익인지, 그리고 출금은 어떻게 해야 하는지 아직도 모릅니다. 그저 툭툭 올라오는 수익이 신기했을 뿐입니다.</p>
<p>- 사실 저는 (아시는 분은 다 아시는) 애드센스로 과거 재미 좀 보았던 경험이 있는지라, (애드센스로 하루에 5달러 이상 수익을 올리는 것이 얼마나 힘든지 경험하신 분들은 아실 것입니다) 하루 100불의 수익은 그야말로 신세계였습니다.</p>
<p>- 그런데 3일째부터는 동일한 조건으로 포스팅을 올려도 전만큼 시원 시원한 수익이 오르지 않는 것입니다. 포스팅만 하면 거의 실시간으로 투표해 주던 분(?)들도 이젠 거의 안보입니다. 그러니 수익은 바로 바닥을 칩니다.</p>
<p>- 거기에다가 왠 스팀잇클리너인지 뭔지 하는 아이디(?)로 제 포스팅이 베낀 것 같다는 경고성 메시지도 보내옵니다. &nbsp;그 때 치타라는 놈의 정체를 알게 되었습니다. 그 전에도 몇 번 제 포스팅에 와서 로봇이네, 니 포스팅과 유사한 내용이 있다는 것을 알려주었지만 그렇게 큰 신경을 쓰지 않았는 데, 이제 생각해 보니 좀 중요했던 대목 같습니다.</p>
<p>- 암튼 5일째 되는 오늘, 얻은 결론은 과거 애드센스 포스팅하듯 나만의 컨텐츠가 여기 스팀잇에도 필요하다는 사실을 알게 되고, 저는 이렇게 커밍아웃하게 됩니다.</p>

<h3>2) 투넘버도 소용없는 스팀잇 인증 시스템</h3>
<p>- 사실 이런 수익성(?) 시스템은 과거 몇 번 경험해 본지라, 바로 저는 제2의 스팀잇 계정을 개설하고자 하였습니다. &nbsp;고백하건데 이 계정의 인증 전화번호는 투넘버를 이용하였습니다. 시험단계로 개설하는 계정이니 일단 원래 전화번호 말고 투넘버로 개설한다는 꼼수를 부렸습니다.</p>
<p>- 그런데, 제 원래 휴대폰 번호로 승인을 받고자 하니, 이미 제 번호가 스팀잇에 사용되고 있다는 메세지가 뜹니다. 순간 당황했지만, 얻은 결론은... 아! 스팀잇 승인 전화번호는 투넘버의 의미가 없다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 그러니까 철저하게 1인 1전화번호 인증 시스템이라고 생각됩니다. 굳이 또 하나의 계정이 필요하다면, 순정의 전화번호 하나가 더 필요할 &nbsp;&nbsp;듯 합니다. (사실 복수계정이 필요할지는 의문입니다. 그저 개설한 계정 잘 가꾸어 나가는 것이 최선의 선택일 듯 합니다.)</p>
<h3>3) 역시 번역기 영어보다는 한글로 진솔하게 포스팅하는 것이 더 낫다!</h3>
<p>- 처음에 애드센스를 할 때도, 우리나라 시장을 무시한 채 영문 블로그로 승부를 하고자 했던 무모한 시절이 있었습니다. 지금 얻은 결론은 애드센스도 수준급 영어 실력이 아니면, 그냥 한글로 포스팅해도 충분히 높은 수익을 얻을 수 있다는 답을 얻게 됩니다. (굳이 영문으로 할 필요가 없지요 ㅋ)</p>
<p>- 그런데 과거는 망각하고 스팀잇을 시작하면서 다시 저는 영어 사대주의에 빠지게 됩니다. 순간 순간 단타성 포스팅으로 얻는 2달러의 수익에 영혼마저 팔 것 같은 느낌이었습니다. 그러나 5일이 지난 지금, 스팀잇의 엄중한 경고(?)성 시스템으로 인해, 이제 부터는 순수 한글로 많으 분들과 소통하는 것이 현명한 스팀잇 포스팅이라는 것을 다시한번 깨닫게 됩니다.</p>

<h3>4) 진솔하게 성심성의껏 답글과 투표를 하는 것이 스팀잇 생태계에서 살아남는 법!</h3>
<p>- 저는 처음 4일간은 그저 포스팅만 주구장창 올렸습니다. 소통따윈 관심이 없었지요. 팔로워들 없이도 따박따박 포스팅당 최소 2달러가 들어왔으니까요... 하지만 그건 일종의 허니문 선물이었다고나 할까... 왜 많은 스팀잇 친구분들이 팔로워에 많은 비중을 두시는 지 이제는 조금 알 것 같습니다.</p>
<p>- 그래서 앞으로는 많은 분들의 포스팅을 읽고, 진솔한 소통, 좋은 투표를 하고자 합니다.</p>

<p>이렇게 아주 조금 스팀잇을 몸소 체험하고, 겸손함을 배우고 나서야 커밍아웃하게 되었습니다. 앞으로 잘 부탁드리겠습니다. 스팀잇 선배님들^^ 그리고 저 역시 스팀잇 한국 유저의 한 사람으로서 청정한 스팀잇 생태계를 만드는 데, 조금이나마 힘을 보태고자 합니다. 두서없이 긴 글 읽어주셔서 정말 감사드립니다~</p>
