Have been a long time Daily Decrypt fan for a while, it's host, Amanda B Johnson have moved on to the DASH community and has been putting some videos about DASH. But lately she went into building a series of educational videos, these videos are not only for DASH people but also for any person new to cryptocurrency.
I think this is a great effort, and I like the instructional look about it. She gets technical but not too technical to buggle the mind of her audience, and also is short enough that you can consume it real quickly and modular. So you can go over topic by topic without having to remember where did you stop watching or where do you need to rewind to pick up where you left off.
She starts with the very basics explaining what is the nature of money, and how does it relates with cryptocurrencies. So people can familiarize with how it's built and how the digital world emulates the real world and the relationship between cryptography and money.
Then she goes over other topics like how the blockchain relates to this cryptocurrency, how is it structure and how the blockchain is so relevant into the equation of money. Why? Because we don't have a blockchain on the real world, not a global one anyway.
She also goes into the DASH specifics. So yes, if you are bitcoin veteran but have never really learned how DASH differenciate from the other altcoins? You could learn here the specifics and also the benefits that you can get with DASH. For example, if you have read a lot of Ethereum you might have heard of the The DAO, while the story of it was dramatic and tragically, DASH is a DAO success story.
Just like The DAO was built with the objective of investing into proposals through a voting system. DASH has done this for a whie under a site called DASH. But more about that on the course.
All in all the course is around 1 hour long and make a total of 6 minutes, giving you time to skip through if you think you know some topics and reporpouse your time to the most advanced topics. So whenever you are royal N00b or a veteran I think DASH School: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiFMZOlhgsYKKOUOVjQjESCXfR1cCYCod is a great asset for all crypto user.
