The new Ghost in the shell?

Just watched the first episode of one of the most cyberpunkish show since. Edgerunners and Psycho-pass. This show have strong ghost in the shell vibes as it is about finding a digital criminal hacker mascarading as one of the detectives and attacking their own loved ones. 

The show study the current vision of the future dominated by AI and having the narrative worked around drones and androids. 

The animation is quite smooth and do far the city is not too overtly flashy as it mostly take it on the conservative city of London. However this also add to the investigative mood of the show. Sometimes even giving me [Moster](https://myanimelist.net/anime/19/Monster) vibes. 

Episode do far looks impressive and the interaction between the characters are pretty warm-hearted. Let se how they evolved through the series. Highly recommended.

It looks like an anime worth watching, I haven't seen Ghost in the Shell, so I wouldn't know the answer to the title question haha but it sounds interesting 😊

Episode 1 just launched last night. The article is more to hype the expectation i have over this series. 
This season has nearly 20 new shows so people might want to know where to invest their viewing time.

A future dominated by AI seems terrifying... hopefully, I will not last long to experience that horror. The concept was really interesting, and although I haven't seen Ghost In the Shell, I've already read a lot of good reviews about it, so if you felt that it's kinda similar to it then I guess it's worth watching. Will check this out once it finishes airing. Thanks for sharing -v-, I'm gonna add this one to my to-watch list.
