<center>https://kaelci.games/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/poeheadermoreorbs.png</center> <br/>The Sentinel League has been live for a week and my character has now reached level 87. That is the level of my previous highest-level-character and I hope to exceed it soon!

Despite reaching the same level, I've done a lot more this league already in comparison to previous playthroughs. I'm zooming through red maps with ease. I did my first Tier 15 map last night, just because it was there and I wanted to see if I could, and I flew through it. My character isn't as zoomy as my partner's minion build. I witnessed him kill bosses in literally half a second. But mine is pretty up there.

One of my "firsts" is actually paying attention to Jun and the Immortal Syndicate.

Attracted by the flashiness of new crafting abilities, I pursued many Syndicate members, proceeded to execute them, interrogate them, and bargain with them as best I could. And I found the first Safehouse!

I didn't find anything good in there, but it was still a first for me even finding a Hideout and experiencing the fight within.

Ultimately, though, I was disappointed that there wasn't anything good in there. I'm guessing that there is, but RNG hates me. I defeated the enemies, found a bunch of treasure in assorted rooms, but they had nothing.

Maybe the next Hideout will be more generous.

In another "first", I completed the "Uber Lab" for the first time!

Thanks to completing it, I got an enchant for my fiery boots: Adds 45 to 68 Fire Damage if you've killed recently.

Cheers. I'm always killing recently. xD Now I need to go back in and find some more enchants for all my other things!

And here's yet another "first" ~ trying to defeat the Eater of Worlds and the Searing Exarch.

I pursued the Eater of Worlds and found myself in this green and disgusting realm where puke, bile, and body acids are assaulting you from every corner. I don't like to spoil myself with youtubes telling me how to do things, not until I've failed several times at least, so I went into the fight completely blind and got my arse whooped.

I then pursued him again, feeling a bit more confident since now I knew what he would do and what I would have to do. Still got my arse whooped. xD I'll try him again later.

So I tried pursuing the Searing Exarch instead, fought the Black Star, and won in a flash. That was better. Now I have to keep pursuing it through higher and higher tiers. I think I'll try to complete that one before bothering with the Hungry Fat Guy again.

After a whole bunch of firsts, I decided to just do some other things and hope I found good loot.

I really love the Blight mechanic. Blight was the very first League I started playing and I'm not usually a fan of tower defence, but in this case I really, really enjoy it. Even moreso when it's an entire map just dedicated to the Blight encounter.

Thanks to the Atlas, I've put several points into the Blight and Blighted Maps are now coming out my ears. That's fantastic! I haven't found as many oils as I would like just yet, but I did find a black one which was very helpful and allowed me to anoint my amulet with Undertaker.

I'm not sure if it's the best one for my build — the guy who wrote the build has written nothing about anointing — but I feel like it's pretty good considering I use Unearth and I'm constantly consuming corpses.

Overall, the build seems to be going pretty well.

I feel a little bit like a glass cannon sometimes, but I like to think that's mostly because I haven't geared up to the build's standards just yet. Last night I had my very first Exalted Orb drop! I was so excited about it that I died, haha. Thankfully I had more portals though otherwise I would've been devastated. Quickly hopped back in, posed with it for a screenshot, grabbed it, rushed over to the PoE Trade website and got myself a fancy jewel.

With that fancy jewel, I made it so I could select a few things without needing to trail towards them and got myself some more armour and energy shield. There are two other perks I'm supposed to get according to the guide, both of which will increase my damage, but I chose the defensive perk first. I'm just so glass-cannony I felt that I needed it.

My next acquisition is the Aegis Aurora which is a shield that's going to cost me 7-to-8 Exalted Orbs.

That's going to be tough. But it will be an instrumental moment for my build! The perk on that shield will definitely make it so I'm less prone to dying. It replenishes my energy shield by 2% every time I block, and I block a lot. It will be nice! I just need to afford the thing first. Or find it myself. And I feel that that's unlikely.

Then there's a Watcher's Eye gem that I need, and that's also pretty expensive. The cluster jewels I need are also expensive, but I've bought some budget ones in the meantime.

My Atlas tree is getting nicely filled up now, too.

I've travelled along to some Blight things, to some Immortal Syndicate things, all the way to the top. And I've just started grabbing some Rogue things. I like the idea of them showering me with currency so I've grabbed those perks and will now be making my way to the perks where I could have more Rogues appear in my maps.

My Atlas probably isn't an "ideal" Atlas, but it's working for me and my playstyle.

Now my next main goal is to somehow find Exalted Orbs! Or just farm up a lot of Chaos Orbs (and Alteration Orbs apparently, according to Poe Trade) and buy the silly things. Apparently 800 Alteration Orbs will get me an Exalted, or 140 Chaos Orbs.

Either way, I'm going to need a lot of them if I'm going to finish this build. 😅
