Just a short reflection on some recent struggles and insecurities I have been experiencing in regard to being a bit of an unorthodox family here in Japan, and really, worldwide I guess.

I think it's important to face our weaknesses, doubts, and fears in order to embrace them and process them, in order to *integrate* the lessons they can teach us into our lives. 

I am also extremely grateful for the supportive tribe I have found here on Steemit. Without this community, feeling supported in following my own road as a parent and individual would be a much greater challenge.

Thanks for watching, and thanks to all the parents out there bold enough to stand up for their natural rights as individuals and caretakers/guides of the next generation of humans. 

It's only going to get better as we become more and more aware and pass this awareness onto our children to continue the work of growth towards peace, happiness, and understanding.

Upon identifying our weaknesses, doubts, and fears we should accept them and should find a way to overcome them. As you said we should learn lessons and shouldn't repeat those mistakes. This will make our life much easier and peaceful.

You should probably sign up your children to a couple of clubs like music or martial arts. That will provide them with a tight network of friends (including sleep-overs) and you with a network of other parents who will get to know you and your home schooling approach better.
