No estoy seguro de que en qué momento esto paso, pero la vida empezó a sentirse como si estuviera en un playlist que yo mismo hice hace tiempo y el cual se me de memoria cada palabra y acorde de cada una de las canciones que lo integra. 

Y aunque las razones que llevaron a poner esas canciones en primer lugar siguen intactas dentro de mí cierto es que ya las hallaba repetitivas. 

Había algo dentro de mí que se resistía a incorporar cosas nuevas a mi rutina. Que se aferraba siempre a las mismas cosas que conocía. Se aferraba irremediablemente a su zona de confort. 
Pero la zona de confort, por muy cómoda que sea termina quebrantando el alma. Tener siempre la certeza de que va a pasar le quita esa chispa a la vida. 

Mi vida ha cambiado mucho desde que me di cuenta que mantenerme en la zona de confort no me permitía evolucionar como persona. Me mude y deje atrás una relación familiar que sencillamente se había vuelto irreparable. Emprendí un negocio en algo que no tenía nada que ver con mi profesión. Dentro de mi profesión he probado áreas de las que casi no tenía conocimientos anteriormente. 

Y aunque anteriormente me aterraba la idea de arriesgarme a hacer esa clase de cosas, lo cierto es que todas estas decisiones me han dado una paz, fuerza y claridad mental que pocas veces he sentido en mi vida. 

Ahora cuando salgo de mi casa siento que es como si colocará el modo aleatorio de spotify. No tengo idea de que va a pasar, de a quien conoceré o como poder crecer persona, y aunque seguramente también me consiga con cosas que no me agraden, también es seguro que descubriré nuevas cosas que se volverán una parte tan propia de mí como lo fueron esas canciones que me llevaron a hacer ese playlist del que les hablaba en primer lugar.

I'm not sure at what point this happened, but life began to feel as if I was in a playlist that I made myself some time ago and which I memorized every word and chord of each of the songs that integrate it. 

And although the reasons that led me to put those songs in the first place are still intact inside me, the truth is that I found them repetitive. 

There was something inside me that resisted incorporating new things to my routine. That always clung to the same things I knew. It clung hopelessly to its comfort zone. 
But the comfort zone, however comfortable it may be, ends up breaking the soul. Always having the certainty of what is going to happen takes that spark out of life. 

My life has changed a lot since I realized that staying in the comfort zone did not allow me to evolve as a person. I moved and left behind a family relationship that had simply become irreparable. I started a business in something that had nothing to do with my profession. Within my profession I have tried areas that I had almost no knowledge of before. 

And although previously I was terrified of the idea of risking doing that kind of thing, the truth is that all these decisions have given me a peace, strength and mental clarity that I have rarely felt in my life. 

Now when I leave my house I feel like I'm putting spotify on shuffle mode. I have no idea what is going to happen, who I will meet or how to grow as a person, and although I will surely find things that I don't like, it is also certain that I will discover new things that will become as much a part of me as those songs that led me to make that playlist I was talking about in the first place.
