### Weekend by the river in the countryside is my slow life break from the rushing routine in big city.  No traffic jam, no need to keep looking At my watch and I had no pressure to try not to be late.  This was the needed rescue valve so that I could breathe the fresh clean air and feel my brain started to slow down.  These hours being quietly idle were so precious to me that I refused to visit my local friends or go shopping. There were so many things to do around the house and garden everyday. Then, those orange cats needed my attention and we spent some quality time to bond our relationship.

Just sitting on the veranda, sipping a cup of coffee while listening to birds’ gossips and boasting; I was so grateful to be landing on this land by divine guidance.  There was this special sound or frequency of the earth which I began consciously to notice.  At first I thought I had some ear problems, perhaps as result of my swimming or diving; so I just dismissed this sound I kept hearing from nature.

Then, one day I stumbled on this specialist’s work on frequencies.  It seems everything vibrates and gives out waves of frequencies or special sounds which we could not hear normally as every day’s kinds of sound.  I had a tremendous experience years ago when I arrived at my friends’ house on the mountain next to the forest. I could hear throbbing sounds from the earth and deafening sounds of the forest. I could not understand what it was all about so I thought my ears might be infected by something.  Life had always been in a rush so I had to brushed irrelevant things aside!

Now that I learned that I could hear things other people could not hear, I have become more receptive to my surroundings and Mother Nature’s frequencies.  It was as if I was a very sensitive radio receiver, trying to tune in to incoming frequencies.  But I could do this most effectively when I was quiet and in meditation.

The rainy season is always my favourite time of the year. The water level would rise up to five meters and all the fields would become emerald green.  Walking along the river in the evening, I could hear the water beings laughing and dancing in the full river. They sent out silvery dusts making the water ripples shimmering beautifully. The earth took a deep breath and exhaled long into the sky. The earth was telling me that was a big yawn before a long relaxation of the night.

The local fishermen’s village at the end of the road became lively as families prepared for their dinner. I often envied them for sleeping right next to the river. Those soothing vibes at night should have been so sweet and healing. No wonder, these people were always in good mood and secured in their small huts.

สุดสัปดาห์ที่บ้านสวนเป็นเวลาที่เราจะได้พักผ่อน อยู่กับธรรมชาติและมีเวลาเป็นของตนเอง ทำให้เราได้หยุดความเร่งรีบและเริ่มคลายความเครียด เราไม่ต้องรีบร้อน ไม่ต้องคอยดูนาฬิกาและเวลา ไม่ต้องกลัวไปสาย เราได้อยู่เงียบๆ ได้ทำอะไรก็ได้ที่อยากทำ แค่ได้นั่งจิบกาแฟที่หน้าบ้าน นั่งมองดูต้นไม้ใบหญ้าที่เขียวขจีในหน้าฝน เราก็สบายใจมาก ฟังเสียงนกแข่งกันร้องเพลง เหมือนกับแย่งกันพูดหรือแข่งกันคุยเสียงดังมาก เราได้ยินเสียงเหมือนคลื่นมาจากพื้นดินด้วย เสียงของธรรมชาตินี้ดังมากแต่ไม่ใช่เสียงแบบที่เราชินในชีวิตประจำวัน ตอนแรกคิดว่าตนเองมีปัญหาเรื่องหูและการได้ยิน แต่ภายหลังมาเจองานวิจัยของนักวิทยาศาสตร์ ก็เลยรู้ว่าเราได้ยินคลื่นเสียงบางคลื่นได้ ก็คล้ายกับสุนัขที่สามารถได้ยินคลื่นความถื่ตํ่ามากๆได้ แต่เราได้ยินคลื่นความถี่สูงได้มากกว่าคนทั่วไป เราก็ต้องเรียนรู้ว่าเสียงที่ได้ยินมาจากไหน และหาความหมายของคลื่นเสียงแปลกประหลาดเหล่านี้ด้วย

เราขอบหน้าฝนที่สุด เพราะแม่น้ำจะมีระดับสูงขึ้นมาอีกถึงห้าเมตรอย่างน้อย ทำให้แลดูสวยงามมาก ทุกอย่างมีชีวิตชีวามาก ทุ่งนาเขียวขจี ต้นไม้ก็โตเร็วมาก แผ่นดินก็ส่งคลื่นที่มีความสุขสบายมากออกมา เวลาเดินริมแม่น้ำเราก็สัมผัสถึงความสดชื่นของลำน้ำได้ เราอดอิจฉาครอบครัวชาวประมงไม่ได้ พวกเขามีเพิงอยู่ติดริมน้ำ เวลานอนคงมีความรู้สึกดีมาก เขาคงได้รับพลังดีๆจากนํ้าทั้งคืน มิน่าเล่าคนแถวนี้มีอารมณ์ดีมาก และมีความเป็นกันเองมากด้วย เราชอบมาเดินเล่นสัมผัสพลังริมแม่น้ำ เราหวงเวลาส่วนตัวนี้มาก จนเราไม่ออกไปเยี่ยมเพื่อนที่หมู่บ้านอื่น และไม่ไปเที่ยวเตร่ที่อื่นเลย เราโชคดีมากที่ได้มาอยู่ในที่นี้ แบบที่เราก็ต้องคิดว่า เราถูกเรียกให้มาใช้ชีวิตบั้นปลายที่นี่ เราคิดว่าต่อไปเราคงต้องทำอะไรบางอย่าง เพื่อเป็นการตอบแทนสังคมในอนาคต
