### These past two weeks have been quite weird for me.  I have been distracted and stressed by various new happenings in my life, country and global affairs which would affect us.  It’s like keeping watch for a probable storm or tsunami which might just change everything suddenly and unexpectedly.  Luckily I had been able to cope with the tumultuous and crazy energies and sudden curve balls. I discovered that having a sense of humour and some ‘letting go’ attitude did help in steadying my stance. Best of all, I had my orange cats to comfort me and teach me about living each moment in the present.

It’s getting very cold; cats need sunbathing!

Taking my orange cats for an evening walk in the banana grove during the weekend was so relaxing and healing for me.  I could feel the caring energy from the earth and the soothing vibes from the sky.  These cats’ attention on each step made me realise how important to be focus on the moment so that we could see everything clearly and objectively.  If I were to be obsessed with the spoiled moments in the past, my attention would not be in the moment.  I would not be able to enjoy the green surrounding, the fresh crisp and clean air, the open blue sky without the concrete jungles. Suddenly, life became very joyful and full of unexpected blessings.

My orange cats are getting very trusting towards me which causing me some concern.  I would like them to be a bit wild and independent so that they could survive on their own in time of difficulty.  They have started to ‘talk’ to me with their eyes and sounds.  The younger cat,Kwan would come up to me to wake me up when she wanted to go to the garden. In the past she would be far away trying to make tiny voices.  Now she actually came very close and meowed with confidence.

The big brother Joan has always been very trusting and would let me pick him up without any struggling; he would just flop his three kilos weight on my shoulder. Now, he  has started to ‘talk’ to me; he used to be very quiet and hardly made any noises. We could actually had a short conversation about his life.

Aunty Rosy just turned up the day after my meditation on my third eye. It seemed to work much faster each time.  She got my call and message,  and just turned up twelve hours later; last time it took two days.  Rosy, who survived three dogs’ attacks, only allowed me to touch her and carry her around willingly.  But if I made a sudden move, she would become aggressive and hiss at me.  In the evening, I shouted “walking”; they got very excited and ran after me into the banana grove.

They felt much more secured knowing that I was protecting them from the three stray dogs who seemed to come here more often.  They loved digging the sand and rolling around the damped earth. Cats seemed to know how to get in touch with the energy of Mother Earth.  They would run around playing with each other. I would let them there for an hour before calling them back to the house. Amazingly, they knew the time and would run back to the house before dark. Their simple joy in life and their gentle character really impressed me deeply. They just live life with so little demand; they just eat whenever feeling the pang of hunger and the sleep most of the day. I am so lucky to have these orange cats to keep my sane and grounded amidst the stressful world of human affairs.

เราเริ่มเรียนรู้นิสัยของแมวส้มของเรามากขึ้นในเดือนนี้ เราคิดว่าแมวเริ่มเหมือนคนมากขึ้นทุกวัน เราเริ่มสื่อสารกับแมวได้มากขึ้น และแมวก็เริ่มไว้ใจเรามากขึ้น นี่ทำให้เราเริ่มหวั่นใจว่า แมวจะเริ่มไม่เป็นตัวของตัวเอง เราต้องการให้แมวมีความแข็งแกร่งและเป็นตัวของตัวเองมาก เพราะมันจะได้อยู่รอดได้ในเวลาที่ต้องเจอกับความลำบาก เราโชคดีมากที่มีแมวส้มมาอยู่ด้วย ตอนนี้ป้าโรซี่เริ่มตอบสนองการทำสมาธิเรียกให้กลับบ้านเร็วขึ้น เราส่งข้อความไปเรียกโรซี่ตอนเย็น ตอนบ่ายๆมันก็โผล่มาที่บ้าน โรซี่ยอมให้เราจับตัวและอุ้มได้คนเดียว มันจะหนีคนอื่นตลอด เพราะมันเคยถูกหมากัดและไล่กัดมาถึงสามครั้งตอนเป็นลูกแมว เราดีใจที่มันไว้ในเรามากอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ ตอนนี้เราก็ยอมรับว่าแมวส้มตัวนี้จะไปมาและไม่ยอมอยู่เป็นที่เป็นทาง มันจะวนเวียนอยู่แถวนี้เพราะมันกลายเป็นแมวป่าไปแล้ว

ตอนเย็นเราจะตะโกนพาแมวไปเดินเล่นในป่ากล้วย แมวส้มจะเข้าใจทันทีว่าเราจะพาไปเดินเล่น พวกมันจะดีใจมาก และพากันวิ่งตามเราไปในสวนกล้วย ที่นั่นค่อนข้างรกและอาจจะมีงูเขียวหลบซ่อนอยู่ด้วย สุนัขจรจัดที่หน้าบ้านของเพื่อนบ้านก็ชอบมาวิ่งเล่นแถวนี้ เราจึงต้องยืนเฝ้าเวลาพาแมวไปเดินเล่นในป่ากล้วย แมวส้มรู้ว่าเราจะไล่สุนัขจรจัดไปได้ พวกมันกลัวเสียงดุของเรามาก เราก็มองดูแมวใช้ชีวิตอย่างมีความสุขแบบเรียบง่าย พวกมันไม่เรียกร้องอะไรมากมายเลย มันกินก็เมื่อมันหิว ถ้าไม่มีอาหารพวกมันก็ต้องออกล่าหาเอง แมวนอนหลับยาวมาก มันนอนเกือบทั้งวัน ตอนกลางคืนมันก็คอยจับหนูในสวน

ตอนนี้เราเริ่มรู้จักนิสัยแมวส้มมากขึ้น เจ้าจอมไว้ใจเรามากขึ้นและ ยอมให้เราจับตัวอุ้มไปมาเต็มที่ ตอนนี้มันเริ่มพูดคุยกับเรามากขึ้น แต่ก่อนมันจะเงียบมาก ส่วนเย้าขวัญก็กล้าเจ้าหาเรามากขึ้นกว่าแต่ก่อน มันทำตัวเป็นเด็กตลอด ส่วนโรซี่ยังคงระวังตัวมากๆ แต่ก็ยอมให้เราจับตัวและอุ้มได้ซึ่งก็น่าแปลกใจมาก เราเรียนรู้จากแมว และแมวส้มทำให้เราใช้ชีวิตอยู่ในปัจจุบันมากขึ้น ทำให้เรามีสติและเบิกบานใจ เราดีใจและรู้สึกโชคดีมากที่มีแมวส้มมาอยู่เฝ้าบ้านให้เรา และเป็นเพื่อนเรามาโดยตลอด
