### Time does fly by so fast that I am trying hard to catch up with a long lists of unfinished tasks. Sometimes I felt quite stressful that I had to have a complete change of atmosphere.  The best idea came to my mind; I had not yet checked out the Christmas and New Year decorations at my favourite five stars shopping mall.  The best way to get to the Emporium shopping mall is by the skytrain; the Prompong station is right by the Emporium.

I was quite surprised by a complete change of theme this year.  Instead of having green tree and nature concept of animal dolls, this year we are overwhelmed by lots of colourful giant candies.  The dominant colour is pink which is supposed to be quite uplifting for our mood and emotion.  I guess after the lockdown, we really need this kind of colour therapy.

My eyes and sense perception were inundated with this electrifying pink frequency.  I kept walking around the set of decorations several times while trying to decode what’s happening in my brain. It felt like having very cold lemonade on a very hot day! Confusing neurons were giving me fuzzy sensation for a while.

The Christmas trees were all in pink and other bright candies’ colours. It would have been nice if they also hang sweets and candies on those trees for free giveaways. I did wonder whether this theme would promote more demand for candies . I arrived at the mall late afternoon so that I could catch the lightings in the evening.

The wide walkway in front of the Emporium is connected to the new luxurious shopping mall called the Emquartier where most expensive brand-names goods could be found. I rarely visit this mall as the atmosphere seemed rather intimidating to me. You could rub shoulders with the super rich class inside this mall. Lots of people started arriving at the mall to take photos with the tall Christmas tree at the entrance. Both shopping malls belong to the same group of companies, so they have the same decoration theme.

This open space with colourful attractions offer a nice sightseeing area for ordinary people who want to experience the exciting festive atmosphere around amazing decorations.  Youngsters also meet up at the entrance of the mall. Several families with young children treat this area as a playground.

So, the mall has become quite popular among local people and frequent shoppers who meet up for tea or lunch at the food court and trendy cafes. I just like to have a walk exercise on all the five floors while browsing new displays of fashionable items.  This would help me to keep up with new colours for next year.  People watching inside the mall could be quite interesting as their clothes could tell me something about changing economy in our society.  Sometimes I would tell my friends that I was going on a social research at the shopping mall.

ตอนนี้เราเริ่มรู้สึกถึงแรงกดดันของเวลา ที่วิ่งผ่านไปเร็วมากในแต่ละวัน เราแทบจะตามเวลาไม่ทันจริงๆ เพราะเรามีเรื่องต้องสะสางมากมายที่ยังไม่เคลื่อนที่เลย แต่เราก็ยุ่งตลอด นี่ขนาดไม่ต้องมีสุนัขให้พาไปเดินเที่ยวออกกำลังกายเหมือนคนอื่น บางทีเราต้องลืมเรื่องความกดดันนี้ แล้วออกไปเดินเล่นเปลี่ยนบรรยากาศบ้าง เราก็เลยไปสำรวจตลาดและการตกแต่งตามห้างสรรพสินค้าดังๆ ไปดูว่าปีนี้เขาใช้งบประมาณมากไหมกับการแต่งห้างเพื่อฉลองเทศกาลปีใหม่ เราก็นั่งรถไฟฟ้าไปลงที่สถานีพร้อมพงศ์ เพื่อไปเยี่ยมห้างเอ็มโพเรียม และเอ็มควอเทียร์ด้วย

ปีนี้เขาเปลี่ยนแนวการตกแต่งจากสีเขียว เป็นสีชมพูเด่นที่สุดและมีสีแดงสีฟ้าสดตามมา ของตกแต่งต้นไม้เป็นลูกกวาดขนาดยักษ์ห่อกระดาษหลากสีติดเต็มไปหมด เราแปลกใจกับการใช้สีสดใสและสีแรงๆ ตอนแรกที่เห็นนั้น สายตาและสมองของเราปั่นป่วนมาก เพราะคลื่นที่ออกมาไม่ค่อยสงบ แต่เป็นการปุกเร้าให้มีความตื่นเต้นตระการตาอย่างบอกไม่ถูก เราต้องเดินวนดูอยู่ในห้างหลายรอบ เพื่อหามุมถ่ายรูปเหมาะๆ เราไม่เข้าใจว่า ทำไมต้นไม้ในห้างจึงปักหัวลงมาจากเพดาน หรือว่าเขาแขวนมันยากมาก สีชมพูมีผลต่ออารมณ์และความรู้สึก เพราะมีคลื่นความถี่เดียวกับจักรที่หัวใจ เราก็คิดว่างานนี้คงจะช่วยเพิ่มยอดขายของบรรดาขนมหวานและลูกกวาดได้บ้าง

ถ้าเดินมาฝั่งตรงข้ามเราจะเห็นห้างเอ็มควอเทียร์ ที่มีแต่ร้านขายของหรูหราจากยุโรป เราไม่ค่อยชอบเดินในห้างนี้นัก มีแต่ส่นค้าสำหรับเศรษฐี แต่เราไม่เห็นว่าของพวกนี้สวยงามเลย เหมือนออกแบบมาแกล้งคนรวยอย่างนั้นเอง ข้างหน้าตรงทางเข้าห้างเขาจะตกแต่งอย่างสวยงาม มีต้นไม้สีชมพูสูงมากยืนเด่นเพื่อให้คนเข้าไปถ่ายรูป  เรายังคงชอบแนวของต้นไม้สีเขียวมากกว่าสีชมพู แต่เขาคงอยากกระตุ้นให้คนมีความฮึกเหิม และพลังใจหลังจากช่วงล็อกดาวน์ที่ยาวนานเกินไป จนทำให้เศรษฐกิจย่ำแย่ลงไปมาก เราก็ได้ดูคนพาครอบครัวมาหาความสุขกันด้วยการถ่ายรูปกับครอบครัว ได้เห็นเด็กพากันวิ่งเล่นอย่างมีความสุข เราก็คิดว่าสถานที่นี้เป็นอะไรที่ค่อนข้างพิเศษ เราไม่ต้องเข้าห้างให้เสียสตางค์เลย แค่เดินทางมาที่พร้อมพงษ์ก็้เจอที่เดินเล่นดูวิว และถ่ายรูปเล่นยามเย็นได้แล้ว
