<p> One day rose-Lynn Fisher wondered whether the different tears of sorrow with tears of joy. In order to find out, she began to explore tears under a microscope.<br />
</p>
<p>Fisher studied 100 different tears and came to the conclusion that basal tears (those which lubricate the surface of the eyeball) are very different from tears, exposed when cutting onions, tears of laughter have nothing to do with tears of sadness. Like a drop of sea water, tears carries a microcosm of human experiences. </p>

<p>According to Joseph Stromberg of the Smithsonian's College of arts and Sciences, there are three main types of tears: basal, reflex and emotional (caused by emotions). In tear fluid contains various organic substances, oils, antibodies and enzymes; in salt water they remain in suspension. Different types of tears have their own molecular structure. Emotional tears contain the hormones of protein nature, including the neurotransmitter leucine-enkephalin, which is a natural analgesic and stands out under stress. Tear, examined under the microscope, have a crystalline structure and can take many forms. Even emotional tears with the same chemical composition can look completely different. Fisher said: &quot;There are many criteria differences: chemical composition, viscosity, environment, speed of evaporation, as well as the settings of the microscope.&quot;<br />
