I am doing a series of simple and practical projects that can be used to sell or give a gift now that the Christmas season is coming. The idea is that they can be made with the scraps of fabric that are left from other projects so that we do not lose practically anything.
To make this purse-keychain you will need the following materials:
☆ Fabric for the outer part of 20 cm. high by 12 cm wide, fabric for the Inter part of the same measure and another 5 cm. by 5 cm.
☆ Push button or snap button or velcro
☆ Key ring
☆ Sewing machine or thread and needle
☆ Cardboard to make the pattern
The first thing we will do is make the pattern with recycled cardboard, I really like to reuse the cardboard from the cereal boxes or the covers of the notebooks that are already finished and will not be needed anymore, since the leaves are easily damaged and they are not as durable. Draw a rectangle 19.5 cm high by 12 cm wide. Make a horizontal line measuring 6 cm from the base, then from that line measure 6.5 cm again and draw a horizontal line again, then mark the middle at the top of the rectangle, it would be at 6 cm, and from There, draw a curved line to the corner of the horizontal line that you marked at 6.5 cm, repeat the same on the other side, this is to make a rounded finish. When finished we cut.
Once the pattern is ready, we put it on the outer fabric, mark and cut, we do the same with the inner fabric or lining. It is not necessary to leave centimeters for the seam since the measurement of the pattern is stipulated.
We face the fabrics on the right side and sew one centimeter from the edge, leaving an unsewn part of approximately 5 cm to turn it over. Before turning, cut the corners into a triangle so that it is not bulging. When you turn the piece over, you iron it well to settle the seams, making sure that the part that you left without sewing to turn it is with the fold inwards as the rest that you go up sewn.
We take the 5 cm by 5 cm piece of fabric, fold both sides inwards, then fold again and iron. Sew along the edge so that the handle is ready to place the key ring.
The handle with the key ring is placed by the part that was not sewn to turn it over, between the two fabrics. Measure 6 cm from the base or low part of the piece and fold up to create the pocket, fix with pins and sew as close as you can to the edge from the beginning of the fold until closing the space you left to turn, going over of the handle and fix it, do the same on the other side, but only as far as the fold, so the pocket will be closed. It only remains to sew the button or velcro and your purse-keychain will be ready.

Estoy realizando una serie de proyectos sencillos y prácticos que sirvan para vender o hacer un regalo ahora que viene la época de Navidad. La idea es que se puedan hacer con los retazos de tela que van quedando de otros proyectos así no perdemos prácticamente nada.
Para realizar este monedero-llavero se necesitan los siguientes materiales:
☆ Tela para la parte exterior de 20 cm. de alto por 12 cm de ancho, tela para la parte Inter de la misma medida y otro de 5 cm. por 5 cm.
☆ Botón de presión o botón snap o velcro
☆ Argolla de llavero
☆ Máquina de coser o hilo y aguja
☆ Cartón para hacer el patrón
Lo primero que haremos es hacer el patrón con cartón reciclado, a mi me gusta mucho para esto reusar el cartón de las cajas de cereales o las tapas de los cuadernos que ya se acabaron y no se necesitarán más, ya que las hojas se dañan fácilmente y no son tan duraderas. Traza un rectángulo de 19,5 cm de alto por 12 cm de ancho. Haz una línea horizontal midiendo 6 cm desde la base, luego a partir de esa línea vuelve a medir 6,5 cm y traza nuevamente una línea horizontal, luego marca la mitad en la parte superior del rectángulo, sería a los 6 cm, y desde allí traza una línea curva hasta la esquina de la línea horizontal que marcaste a los 6,5 cm, repite lo mismo en el otro lado, esto es para que quede un acabado redondeado. Al terminar recortamos.
Una vez listo el patrón, lo ponemos sobre la tela del exterior, marcamos y cortamos, hacemos lo mismo con la tela del interior o forro. No hace falta dejar centímetros para la costura ya que en la medida del patrón está estipulada.
Enfrentamos las telas del lado derecho y cosemos a un centímetro del borde, dejando una parte sin coser de 5 cm aproximadamente para darle la vuelta. Antes de voltear corta las esquinas en triángulo para que no quede abultado.
Cuando voltees la pieza la planchas bien para asentar las costuras, asegurándote de que la parte que dejaste sin coser para darle la vuelta quede con el doblez hacia adentro como el resto que sí se cosió.
Tomamos el pedacito de tela de 5 cm por 5 cm, doblamos ambos laterales hacia adentro, luego volvemos a doblar y planchamos. Coses por el borde para que quede lista el asa para colocar la argolla del llavero.
El asa con la argolla del llavero la colocas el parte que quedó sin coser para darle la vuelta, entre las dos telas. Mide 6 cm desde la base o porte baja de la pieza y dobla hacia arriba para crear el bolsillo, fija con alfileres y cose los más cerca que puedas del borde desde el inicio del doblez hasta cerrar el espacio que dejaste para voltear, pasando por encima del asa y fijarla, haz lo mismo del otro lado, pero sólo hasta donde llega el doblez, así quedará cerrado el bolsillo. Sólo queda coser el botón o velcro y estará listo tu monedero-llavero.
