God calls Solomon to build His Temple in Jerusalem. The anointed king of the Lord, should take care of this important matter that was already a national project, Solomon was his representative and head. It was clear to all that it was God's time to build the Temple. He gave Solomon the great opportunity to serve him with his intelligence, appropriate attitudes and useful thoughts. God then encouraged him to "be strong and do it". We observe the same terms expressed in the verses, "Then you will walk in your way confidently, and your foot will not stumble. This temple has two main rooms, like those of the tabernacle. But the size of these is twice the size of those. Solomon has the ark of the covenant placed in the inner room; the other things that the tabernacle had are put on the other.
When the temple is finished, there is a great celebration. Solomon kneels in front of the temple and prays, as you see. 'Even the whole sky can not contain you,' says Solomon to Jehovah, 'then how can this temple hold you? But, oh my God, please listen to your people when they pray towards this place. he temple is illustrated in the instructions given by God in relation to its construction. God rewards David's service life by giving him the opportunity to provide Solomon with design for construction. "Also the plan of all the things that he had in mind for the courts of the house of Jehovah, for all the surrounding chambers, for the treasuries of the house of God, and for the treasuries of sanctified things" (1 Chronicles 28: 12).
