Arrived.. eventually but being forgot about isn't nice.

That wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.  I eventually got packed but ended up leaving nearly am hour late as hubby was on a go slow. 

We eventually got moving traveling down the A69, the further we got the worse the weather got. It started chucking down, Glen wasn't happy as he hates driving but hates driving in the rain more, so he moaned and groaned all the way there.

We eventually got here to find the last had forgot we were coming, we had to go and sit in the pub down the road for 2 hours.  We ended up having a drink at the pub then sat outside Asda eating a Asda sandwich and pop as we were starving.

Oooo... The Lake district is lovely. So.... atmospheric with all those clouds and rain and hail and stuff. At least that's what it was like when  visited. ;-)

I'm glad your meal was lovely and the shower lived up to expectations. I am a man that truly values a good shower, so I know what you mean about stepping back into it while you have the chance.

You will both be super clean for your trip back home ;-)

I'm going away for a week soon, and I'll be taking one suitcase full of photography  kit, and a change of undies. Sorted. :-)
