Feeling cooler with my new fan 🌬🌞 Checking on my beautiful Sunflower 🌻 and helping my daughter with her mental- health problems. ❤
My new fan arrived today, then we forgot about it complaining about how hot it was,  I then remembered what was sitting in a box in our passage. Hubby set it up Nichola started it off, it took a few minutes getting the settings right then within 5 minutes our sitting room was much cooler,  I felt the benefit and Mika stopped panting then fell asleep.

I was very lucky as I looked this up the day before I bought it, it was priced at £69.99, I was going to buy it then thought I'll have a look if there's any on offer on the bargain site on Facebook.  I found the exact same one on sale with a code for £29.99. A massive saving and its brilliant,  cooling us all down.  I will be taking it to our bedroom when I go to bed. 

Its still warm here but loads of clouds no sun. Its supposed to get hot again over the next few days.  I have the fan now so no more suffering. 

I had to go out in the garden to water my plants,  want expecting much change in my tallest Sunflower, to my surprise there was a big change.

She is beautiful,  smaller petals but very neat. I gave them all a good watering ready for a hot day tomorrow.  

Hubby has plans for a game of golf tomorrow, hes starting to get back into the game which will give me 4 hours peace and quiet from him.  Just me, Nichola and my 3 pups. 

My daughter Nichola is having a very hard time dealing with her Anxiety, its causing a few problems in her relationship. She's a very stubborn person too, doesn't like advice but thankfully I have got into her head with a few ideas to help. She can be very negative about anything and her answer is *well if something bad happens I can say I expected it and won't be too shocked.* I had a chat with her giving her a few pointers on how to change those negative thoughts into positive ones. Since suggesting helping she seems to be thinking more about improving herself. I have gave her an affirmation to keep saying when she is feeling anxious and also told her to stick the affirmations around her room so wherever she looks she will see what she needs.

This is for her to see herself better and not useless.  I am going through much the same, I have been for years, I have had so much therapy that I can pass some advice for her. I have ordered her a self- help book to help, that arrives tomorrow, she also filling in a diary about all the good things that happen plus downloaded an app that gives her pointers and help for each day. 

Its sad watching her suffer and think badly of herself. I tell her everyday how much I love her and how much she means to me,  hopefully after all this help she will start seeing her worth and accept how amazing she is.

I'm so glad you got that fan at a good price and that it is working to keep you cooler. You are a good mom. I  hope you are successful in helping her be more positive. It sounds like you have given her some marvelous coping strategies.
