My daughter Nichola recieved her Coronavirus results at midnight last night. Her test results came back Positive.

She has to stay in her bedroom for another few days until she has passed the contagious stage then sge week be allowed downstairs. She is constantly sanitising her hands then hubby uses disinfectant wipes to clean where she has been, *we are thinking about putting a bell around her neck to warm us wren she is close.* That was a joke of course.
Me and hubby received our results early this morning, both of us are negative.

We both still have to isolate so that's hubby off work for nearly 2 weeks. We still may catch Covid from Nichola, if that was the case then we have to isolate for another 10 days until we all test negative. Thankfully Nichola doesn't seem to unwell its more like having a cold with a dry cough. I'm hoping I don't catch it as with having Asthma that cough could cause me a few problems.
The weather isn't helping as its hot and uncomfortable. She's not sleeping very well but other than that she seems to be OK. We have had to bring our big fan downstairs to cool down the room to keep the dogs cool.
My area has the highest figures for Positive results. Me and hubby are isolating, as far as he goes us takes the pups out for a quick walk and avoids everyone. Its far too hot to take the pups for ling walks, little ones then in the cool.
We have noticed where we live seems very quiet, when usually our street is busy there's no one about and hubby saw a neighbour a few days ago who didn't look very well, he was coughing badly. This new Delta variant has a lot of people worried especially since Boris is opening everything back up on the 19th. Safe the economy forget about the people.
I haven't done very much today other than relax, having hubby off really helps as he looks after me, he also has to look after Nichola with her being banished to her bedroom. There's really not much to do as nothing is happening, no one is going out, we are coming only when we are hungry, which isn't that often as we aren't doing anything to build an appetite.
When I go to bed Nichola will come sit on the landing outside my bedroom door and talk to me, she needs some kind of interaction or she will go mad. I also facetime her through the day so she doesn't feel alone up there. We message all day sending funny texts or memes just to take her mind off what's going on.
Annie day over another day closer to be free again hopefully testing negative. One person who is enjoying the break is hubby, no work no early mornings is making him smile. He has plans to start our bedroom, he is hoping to get the decorating done before he goes back to work.
Its bedtime for me now, I need a shower then time to settle down for the night.
