Frangipane

To make it, you will need the following ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup ground almonds (almond flour)
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
a pinch of salt
Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the ground almonds, eggs, vanilla extract, flour, and salt to the bowl and mix until well combined.
The frangipane is now ready to be used as a filling for tarts or pastries. It can also be refrigerated or frozen for later use.
Note: you can use almond paste instead of ground almonds (almond flour) and adjust sugar accordingly.
