Today I would love to share a nice and productive tutorial on how to recycle clothes, where I transformed and modified a men's tracksuit size XL, into a nice sporty outfit for my daughter. Creating a style that undoubtedly highlights the sporty spirit and joy in our little ones.*

El dia de hoy me encantaría compartir un lindo y productivo tutorial de reciclado de ropa, donde transforme y modifique un chandal de hombre talla XL, aun lindo conjunto deportivo para mi hija. ✨ *As I always say, this type of work is my favorite, because I can create new garments using old pieces. It is very fun to build new garments from a previous design. I had this outfit in mind for a while, but I was a little unmotivated to start making it. 
For the creation of it, I was digging a little in one of my favorite App, "Pinterest", where I got the long-awaited muse, with the help of two designs that fascinated me...* 
 
 
 
>*Como siempre digo, este tipo de trabajos son mis favoritos, pues puedo crear nuevas prendas utilizando piezas antiguas. Es muy recorfontante construir nuevas prendas partiendo de un diseño anterior. Este conjunto lo tenia en mente desde hace un tiempo, lo que estaba algo desmotivada como para ponerme a realizarlo. 
Para la creación del mismo, estuve indagando un poco en una de mis App favoritas, "Pinterest", donde obtuve la tan ansiada musa, con ayuda de dos diseños que me fascinaron...*

✨✨Procedure/ Procedimiento✨✨

✨ *I started this project by marking and cutting out the pieces for the elaboration of my outfit with the help of a sample, for this I took some of my daughter's lycra that was a little wide for her and a strappy blouse.  
I placed the samples on top of the fabric folded in two and marked all the outline, making the corresponding modifications to my design. 
Then I cut and pinned the two parts of the front and back of the lower part of the girl's sweatpants.*

*Comence este proyecto marcando y recortando con ayuda de una muestra las piezas para la elaboración de mi conjunto, para ello tome unas licras de mi hija que le quedaban algo anchas y una blusita de tirantes.  
Coleque las muestras encima de la tela doblada en dos y fui marcando todo el contorno, realizando las modificaciones correspondientes a mi diseño. 
Luego recorte y sujete con alfileres uniendo las dos partes del delantero y trasero de la parte baja del pantalón estilo chandal para niñas.*

✨ *Once each part was cut, I proceeded to join each piece, making a French seam on the part of the straps. 
Then I joined with a straight seam the two sides, leaving an opening from the knee down, for this I left a wider margin, because I had to make a decorative seam on both sides of the front and back of the pants, to join them then placing one on top of the other.  
Once this process is done, I proceed to join the inside of the pants, just below the straps.*

*Una vez picada cada parte, procedi a unir cada pieza, realizando una costura francesa a la parte de los tiros. 
Luego uni con una costura recta los dos laterales, dejando una abertura de la rodilla hacia abajo, para ello deje un margen mas amplio, pues debia de realizar una costura decorativa por ambos laterales de la parte delantera y trasera del pantalón, para unirlos luego colocandolo uno encima del otro.  
Una vez realizado este proceso, procedo a unir por el interior el pantalon, justo debajo de los tiros.*

✨ *Take a strip of fabric to make the sash of the pants. Then I sewed a seam down the center or in the middle of it. I placed an elastic and pinned it to the bottom of the garment. I stitched the seam and then finished it with a zic zac.*

*Tome un liston de tela para realizar el fajin del pantalon. Luego le pase una costura por el mismo centro o medio de la misma. Coloque un elástico y la sostuve a la parte baja de la prenda con alfileres. Pase costura y luego remate con un zic zac*

✨ *Once the lower part was finished, I proceeded to make the upper part.  
I took the patterns, which were cut out, and cut out a small space I had, since it was a kind of bodysuit.

*Una vez terminada la parte baja, procedi a ejecutar la de arriba.  
Tome los patrones, que estaban recortados y le recorte un pequeño espacio que tenia, pues era una especie de body.  
Realice los dobladillos correspondientes a los lateras, curvas en el frente y espalda, dejando un pequeño espacio sin coser para pasar un elástico a la parte trasera.*
