The [Hive Ecosystem](https://hive.io/eco/) is constantly growing. The communities of hive are getting stronger day by day and we are seeing tremendous potential. There is so much content on various topics (about finance, health, travel, nature, photography, gaming and more..) and this is a great help in bringing more users, as the organic results are increasing! 

Hive is a blockchain and there are specific information that one can receive using Hive  SQL. But there are some information that it is not possible to fetch.

Have you ever wondered, how much traffic there is in the various websites that have their own front end, using the hive blockchain?

In this post, we will check out the statistics of specific front ends and more specifically of peakd.com - hive.blog and leofinance.io. 

We will see statistics and comparisons in regards to the website traffic, the top countries visitors, the bounce rate etc.

Please note:
All screen shots are taken on the 14th of April 2023. I used the free version of similarweb for the statistics.

I could use the timeframe of - March, last 2 or 3 months, last 28 days (This is what I selected) 
We should note that many of the users have been using the alpha of leofinance, but still I consider them indicative.

As we know, both peakd and hive are generic platforms, where users can see all other communities and posts. Peakd.com is the leader worldwide, ranking #92.056 and in finance ranking with #1246 

### Traffic & Engagement

Peakd has most visits the last 28 days from hive blog and leofinance

**Device distribution**

Do you know what device most users use to enter the websites?
It seems that peakd.com users prefer desktop (62.2% vs 37.8%), while the majority of hive blog visitors are on their mobile (34.4% vs 65.6 (mobile)) . Leofinance.io users are using both desktop version and mobile (51% vs 49%)

### Engagement 

This is a very interesting report. 
We see that peakd has the most daily visits and the lowest bounce rate, but the visit duration and pages per visit is dominated by leofinance.io *(again, the new interface information https://alpha.leofinance.io/ cannot be calculated and added)*
I am happy to see that all the sites we have checked (and some others that are not in my report) had more than 4 pages of visit per user. This means that users find interesting content and keep surfing.

### Visits Over Time

What we notice here is that both peakd.com and leofinance.io have  somewhat stable visitors, but hive.blog has some specific spikes in dates. I wonder what could drive those spikes..

### Geography

It is interesting to see that 13.9% of  leofinance users  are from the US. I was surprised to see that 47.4% of UK users use hive.blog and 78% Canadians or 74.4% of Philippines users use peakd.com. Interesting breakdown and it will be interesting to see how it will evolve the next month.

### Marketing Channels

Peakd has most direct traffic, followed by leofinance and then hive.blog. 
Hive.block enjoys most of the organic search traffic (followed by leofinance and then peakd) 

What is really interesting is to note that there is a very small percentage of traffic coming from social media. This has to change, and there is great potential to further grow traffic using social media channels.

### Social Media Channels

The lead here is leofinance, with the biggest social media traffic - coming from twitter. 
There is also traffic from reddit, youtube, and I do not know what the 'other' is for hive.blog.

I see that there is great potential to grow traffic in Pinterest. Thoughts on this?
