I started exploring crypto in 2017. 

After my initial surprise, I felt excitement, curiosity, freedom and learning about crypto was all I wanted to do (during my not-so-much free time)

During all these years, I am sad to admit that I have not been able to teach many people around me about crypto. On the contrary, I have been lucky to find many other like-minded people in various crypto communities (Hive being the first and the most important of them) 

But, why do you believe that people do not care about crypto?

Are they bored?
Are they lazy?

Or are they afraid, that they will have to reinvent all the processes they have established in their lives?

Cryptocurrency often intimidates people because it represents a paradigm shift in how we think about money, investments, and technology. 

Many people I have talked to hesitate to explore it due to a fear of the unknown, because they simply cannot understand how it works. 

(Even though they do not know how stuff like credit cards work either, but they still use them every day)

This fear is compounded by the steep learning curve. Suddenly they hear about all these unknown words and they feel overwhelmed! 

Blockchain, wallets, private keys,  decentralized systems, NFTs, assets and many more.. They wonder.. why should they learn are all these?

Perhaps one of the most important reason for many, is the fear of losing their hard earned money because of the volatile market, because of the complexity or because of the scammers.  

I have listened to a few recent interviews (after $100KBTC ) and I hear sentences like:

- Why should I buy now? It is too expensive

-  If it went up so high, it will definitely go back down soon. It is just a matter of when.


It is unbelievable that so many people lose the greater image of innovation, development, tech-evolution and stay at the details that the news-outlets overall highlight. 

And it is definitely not a coincidence that crypto adoption tends to be higher in countries with economic instability, weak currencies, or limited access to traditional banking systems.


For such communities crypto is not an innovative thing that they have discovered, it becomes a necessity for them, a tangible solution to overcome every day challenges. This is the way for them to be financially independent. 


And, to end this post, what intimidates me the most at this point is that most of the new crypto-adopters (if we may characterize them this), will enter the ecosystem wit the goal of short term investing, and many of them may quickly lose their money either to volatility either to scammers who are always ready to seize opportunities. 

So, if you’ve made it this far, and you still read me, remember at least this. 

**Take a moment to search, ask, and learn—because stepping into unfamiliar territory without preparation can lead to costly mistakes.**
