Hola mis muy queridos amigos de #Needleworkmonday, espero que hoy haya sido un gran día para todos. Les cuento que hace un mes llegó mi sobrino desde Venezuela, junto a su mami y su hermanita, para mi ha sido algo muy hermoso tenerlos conmigo, él es un adulto de 21 años con diversidad funcional intelectual, pero es todo un hombrecito independiente y le gustan mucho los Bividis, así que quise complacerlo y hacerle uno personalizado con la letra "D" ya que su nombre es Daimler, no soy una experta bordando, aún estoy practicando, pero lo hice con mucho amor y cariño para mi sobrino. Espero les guste.

Para realizar nuestro Bividi personalizado, comenzaremos colocando sobre la tela colocada en dos, el Bividi que hayamos escogido como molde y sacaremos la parte delantera y la parte trasera.

Luego utilizaremos la tela dorada para sacar el patrón de la letra "D"asegurando la misma con alfileres sobre la tela.

Una vez que hayamos sacado la letra procedemos a colocarla encima de la parte delantera del Bividi, específicamente en el centro.

> Once we have removed the letter we proceed to place it on top of the front of the Bividi, specifically in the center.

Posteriormente colocaremos debajo de la parte delantera del Bividi una hoja de papel para darle más firmeza a la tela.

> Then place a sheet of paper under the front of the Bividi to firm the fabric.

Después comenzaremos a pasarle costura recta y luego costura en Zig zag a todo el borde de la letra.

> Then we will start sewing straight stitching and then zig zag stitching all along the edge of the letter.

Cuando hayamos terminado de fijar o de bordar nuestra letra en el centro de la parte delantera del Bividi, uniremos las dos piezas delantera y trasera colocando los derechos enfrentados y desdoblamos.

Luego cortaremos tres tiras de diferentes tamaños para hacer el borde del cuello y los bordes de las sisas. La tira que colocaremos en el cuello tendrá 58cm de largo y 3cm de ancho y las tiras de los sesgos tendrán 60.5cm de largo y 3cm de ancho.

Seguidamente coseremos la tira por el cuello y luego las tiras del sesgo.
