My friend recently visited Warsaw and said that one of the best places to take a photo in Warsaw is Pankiewicza Street. She posted her photo with the Palace of Culture and Science in the background on the social media, and while I was there today I took a few photos to show you how atmospheric this street looks like.

*Moja koleżanka była ostatnio w Warszawie i powiedziała, że jednym z najlepszym miejsc do zrobienia zdjęcia w Warszawie jest ulica Pankiewicza. Ona wstawiła na portal społecznościowy swoje zdjęcie z PKiN w tle, a ja będąc tam dzisiaj zrobiłam kilka zdjęć, żeby pokazać wam jak klimatycznie wygląda ta uliczka.*

I was walking around the very center and catching snapshots of moments. A man who was walking with his dog, a greyhound, walked by. Moments later, a few people on electric scooters flashed along the cobblestones on the street by the Polonia Palace Hotel. It's near the Central Railway Station, so I've also seen a lot of tourists.

*Spacerowałam po ścisłym centrum i łapałam migawki chwil. Przeszedł koło mnie mężczyzna, który był na spacerze ze swoim psem, chartem. Chwilę później po uliczce przy hotelu Polonia Palace po bruku przemknęło kilka osób na elektrycznych hulajnogach. To okolice Dworca Centralnego, więc widziałam też sporo turystów.*

As usual, being in the center, I paid attention to beautiful, restored tenement houses. One of the prettiest is the one, occupied by the four-star Polonia Palace hotel. I spent the night in it once, when I was not yet living in the capital, and I used to come here for training. I have very fond memories of my stay in it. The hotel has a gym and saunas.

*Jak zwykle będąc w centrum zwracałam uwagę na piękne, odrestaurowane kamienice. Jedną z najładniejszych jest ta, zajmowana przez czterogwiazdkowy hotel Polonia Palace. Nocowałam w nim kiedyś, gdy jeszcze nie mieszkałam w stolicy i przyjeżdżałam tu na szkolenia. Bardzo miło wspominam pobyt w nim. W hotelu znajduje się siłownia i sauny.*

One of the balconies is supported by sculptures with ram heads.
