It is another beautiful day, I woke up at 7:59am knowing i need to get to the office that morning, Even though it is a public holiday, but i got a message from my employer yesterday telling me to print out some documents. I got up fully from the bed at 8:01am because i needed to complete it that sleep, I don't sleep well these days because we have a baby now in our presence and it happened to be my elder sisters baby a boy. After getting up from the bed, I went straight to the bedroom to search for my clothes am not wearing shirt or suit today. Am strictly going on casual wears, I brought out my casual wear and next i was in the bathroom, I was in the bathroom and began to say prayers, morning prayers like i do every morning. After the prayers, I began to brush my teeth and immediately had my shower too by 8:20 i was done in the bathroom, I came out wore my clothes, I was then prepared to leave for my work place. I got out and hit the road today, I did not take a motorcycle, I decided to walk down there while i listened to my music had airpods on me, I got to the office, and met some people From the outside painting the walls got to my office, so i could print behold there's already a painter in my office. I began to print the documents out there were not much, I printed them all out and filed them, while i had to hang around as they painted our office.
I was done with the printing of documents, I was supposed to leave because it was a public holiday, on the other hand am not supposed to be at the office just had to go because my employer said it was very important, what can i say a life of a personal assistant. It was not just my office alone that gets painting all office will get painted also, I had to just stay back and wait for them to finish painting so i could arrange and arranging it today made the work more easier for me tomorrow when i resume to work. Because they had to paint twice coating that is what it's called they had to do first and second coating on the wall. I waited and waited until it was 11:56am i began to go round the offices because i was already bored.
Finally, he came to me saying am through painting and i was happy by then the time already clocked 2:03pm wow that was a longtime of painting, I know it was because of the coating he should have showed up earlier, so that he could finish up quick, Well i closed the office and was on my way back, I took a bike to our major bus stop, I got down from the motorcycle and walked down to the nearest bus stop as i walked then i noticed a traffic on the road and thanked God, I did not take the bus.
I was on my way home and i felt really hungry haven't eaten nothing since morning, I would have eaten but where i was hoping on for food they went for the public holiday. Luckily for me i saw a spot and branched and i ordered a little food like wanke (Ghana Food) rice, plantain and egg, I ate and even ate another one well i won't judge the food was great.
After eating proceeded home my home was not far from were i ate, walked home, I got inside and saw then watching a cartoon and i joined them to watch also after that i went to check on the baby and he was took him an unaware pictures.
This was how i spent my public holiday at the office. Thanks for the love and care on this community.
