I woke up today at 6:40am with a grateful heart, I am so happy that i got a little nephew who i can actually call a little brother, honestly i have always wanted a little brother and my sister provided it, i am grateful to God for preserving us and, it is not easy we just added to our family, it is a great thing to be around families, When i was done thanking my God, I proceeded to the bathroom brushed and had my shower, when i was done with the bathroom, I then proceeded to the bedroom to pick out my clothes for work. I wore them and was ready to set out for work walked of the house got to the gate and took a motorcycle to my work place. When I got into the office, I noticed people haven't arrived yet at 8:25am, I was kind of bothered, I had to call some of them to know what was really wrong and some of them were like traffic and some were saying something else which i won't disclose.
The office was a little bit scanty today and would have been scanty more but thank God for the more people that showed up at the office. Though there was nothing much to be done in the office, most people are waiting for the holiday season call, but nothing is happening, Normally we are supposed to go on break but we haven't gone yet, I think that's what weighing some people down. You know you humans some would love to travel but as we can clearly see no holiday yet, It is already 12noon and nothing much is happening in the office, Just me having a severe headache, It was so severe and painful i couldn't bend down to do anything, My employer already came to the office and left the office, I was just in the office with my colleague gist talking about ‘The way forward in life’ The gist was so interesting, I almost forgot, I had a headache. Later my employer arrived with the senior partner (SP), She had a hamper in the office, she told me to help her carry it, which i did and we went straight to her car where i placed it, at that spot she was like help me again take a little bag of rice hand it over to the accountant (CFO), I took one of the little pack of rice went straight to the accountant office and presented it, She was grateful and i left, When i got back to the office, I was sent an errand by my employer to go withdraw some money from the POS stand. I got there and it was having some little network issue, I had to go back and tell him and he was like alright don't worry then, While we were in the office, I was sent another errand to go get doughnuts from an eatery close to us, it not really a big eatery just a small spot a hotel close to us owns it, they sell stuffs like ice cream, doughnuts, meat pie, chicken pie, Turkey and food. I got the doughnuts and headed back to the office, I got back and to be sincere the headache got worse, I couldn't take it no more, I went out close to a place there where i got the doughnuts and got myself a sachet of Panadol.
After taking the Panadol, at some time it began to reduce, it was already afternoon then my employer then called on my phone and said to me bring out my things he was leaving for a meeting far away from the mainland he was heading to the island and won't be coming back, I packed up and moved he's things to the car and returned back to the office. It was now obvious there was nothing to be done and at that moment the time was 4:45pm almost time to close for the day, I began to round up there, I want to follow one of the staff who has car so he could drop me off at ikotun, I had something to check, we all left the office because the time now says 5:40pm, I got to ikotun and did not see what i was looking for but i managed to get something more better and needed at this time for my little nephew. I bought a big pampers at the store, I paid for it and left took a bus that would take me to the bus stop were i was going to take motorcycle to the hospital. While we were in the bus we met traffic, but thank God the traffic did not last for hours, I got to the hospital at 7:45pm and gave my gift to the mother of the child which is my sister and she was Very grateful, I stayed for a while and it was already getting late, I had to leave because i will be going to work the next day. I left and headed home when i got home, I had my shower and stepped out, close to my house bought baked beans (akara) and used it to eat the bread i had at home, I was done eating had my medicine which is Panadol i drank a lot of water, it was then time to sleep, I prayed to the almighty God, thanking him once more for the good he has done for my family and i went to bed.
