Hello errybunny! 

So as long as I can remember, I had this urge to do my own kind of comic book art. 

Well I’m not really good with the story writing of it all, so I’ve never really had the guts to turn my art style into any sort of comic art style. 

Sure there’s lots to do if you’re a cartooning dork like myself, but honestly? It’s important to always keep your art evolving. 


These past few weeks has been a long hard road out of depression hell. So to celebrate actually getting out of bed today I did this:

It’s not as perfect as I hoped it would come out, but I’m really satisfied with the kind of art style I learned from this drawing. 

It’s a little romantic. The Sun and his Moon. Or... is it the Moon and her Sun? 

Star struck lovers embrace. 

I’ve used fiber tipped pens for detailing and sharpies for the rest of the colors like the gold of the Suns hair and the yellow, blues and the silver stars.. 

I’m still kind of learning how to use sharpies fluently. So excuse the stripes hahaha.

Basically it all starts with a pencil sketch. I was actually planning on coming up with some sort of silly cat picture again and then bam! Lovers. 

Isn’t that really how it all starts? 

I’m thinking of doing a whole wood panel of these two.

Like making out how they met, and fell in love. Something sexual mixed with fantasy.

I’ll probably upload some art after I’ve done them, maybe write a story with the panels. I really don’t know when this will be happening though. I hope soon. 🖤 

I really enjoyed doing this, though. I’ve never done full color anything. It was hard work. I hope it’s rewarding work in the long run 😊

I’ll obviously get better markers for this project. As I’ve seen sharpies don’t really like doing a full color project. They make stripes. MAYBE I’ll look into getting some copics. Hmmmm



But copics are super expensive in South Africa ☹️.

I’ll see what I can do. I can’t wait to do another few of these drawings. 

Thinking about doing a few of them black and white too.
