A veces me pregunto por qué mi hijo se enferma tanto, estaré haciendo algo mal para que todos mes le suceda algo, la verdad me siento mal cuando comienza con algún síntoma de alguna enfermedad, ya que a pesar de que es un niño totalmente sano siempre se enferma.

>Sometimes I wonder why my son gets so sick, am I doing something wrong so that every month something happens to him, the truth is that I feel bad when he starts with any symptom of any disease, because even though he is a totally healthy child he always gets sick.

Hace días la persona que me lo cuidaba me llamó diciendo que había vomitado, pero era como moco, no era comida que parecía una baba, enseguida salí a buscarlo, ya que había escuchado de un virus que llegó a Bahía Blanca-Argentina y comúnmente estaba dando en los niños; al llegar lo sentí apagado la cual me pareció extraño debido a que es un niño activo.

> Days ago the person who was taking care of him called me saying that he had vomited, but it was like mucus, it was not food, it looked like a drool, I immediately went out to look for him, since I had heard of a virus that arrived in Bahía Blanca-Argentina and was commonly occurring in children; when I arrived I felt him off, which seemed strange to me because he is an active child.

Llegamos a casa, se durmió tranquilo sin embargo en la madrugada comenzó con fiebre de 39.3 y volvió a vomitar una cantidad de moco, no sabía que hacer, ya que nunca había tenido una fiebre tan alta la cual estaba temblando, me acordé que mi mamá siempre me dice que cualquier cosa que lo bañe con agua tibia un rato para que le baje lo caliente y después darle medicamento; al meterlo en la bañera la piel se le puso roja, me asuste mucho al verlo temblar que lo saque y lo deje en pañal encima de mí toda la noche. 

>We got home, he slept peacefully, however in the early morning he started with a fever of 39.3 and vomited again a lot of mucus, I did not know what to do, since he had never had such a high fever and he was shaking, I remembered that my mom always tells me to bathe him with warm water for a while to reduce the heat and then give him medicine; when I put him in the bathtub his skin turned red, I was so scared to see him shaking that I took him out and left him in a diaper on top of me all night long.

Por supuesto no dormí, ya que la temperatura no bajó de 38.8, cuando amaneció lo vestí para llevarlo al médico porque le escribí a la pediatría y me dijo que lo llevara; a pesar de que solo había pasado esa noche con fiebre sentía que detrás de esa alta temperatura había algo. Al momento que la doctora lo estaba revisando, comenzó a toser y se quejó, al terminar de revisarlo me dijo que tenía una infección respiratoria con otitis, por eso no se le baja la fiebre porque requería de antibiótico. 

>Of course I did not sleep, since the temperature did not go below 38.8, when he woke up I dressed him to take him to the doctor because I wrote to the pediatrician and she told me to take him; even though he had only spent that night with fever I felt that behind that high temperature there was something. When the doctor was checking him, he started coughing and complained, when she finished checking him she told me that he had a respiratory infection with otitis, that's why the fever did not go down because he needed antibiotics.

Aunque han pasado 3 días y la fiebre todavía sigue no tan alta como el primer día sin embargo le ha dado temperatura de 38.3, esperemos que con el tratamiento pueda mejorar pronto, ya que no quiere comer, ni estar en el piso me pide que lo cargue o estar acostado, por suerte todavía estoy lactando porque si no come me quedo un poco más tranquila porque toma la teta a cada hora. Sin embargo como toda madre es imposible no estar preocupada más si estás sola en otro país.  

>Although 3 days have passed and the fever is still not as high as the first day, however he has a temperature of 38.3, hopefully with the treatment he will get better soon, since he does not want to eat or be on the floor he asks me to hold him or lie down, luckily I am still breastfeeding because if he does not eat I am a little calmer because he takes the breast every hour. However, as every mother, it is impossible not to be worried, especially if you are alone in another country.
