Serving God is one of the most beautiful activities we can do in this life, the fullness and sensation that is felt when doing it is something that for me is wonderful, it is a sensation that is not achieved anywhere else. Every time we decide to do something for God, we must first do it for love, for gratitude, with the sole intention of pleasing him and not waiting for obligation in return.

When we find ourselves enjoying our first love, we want to serve him in any way, we go out of our way to support his work and make any sacrifice to enter the ministry with which we feel identified. When it comes to this we keep our testimony, we obey, we pray, we are faithful, we are willing to sacrifice anything to serve God.

But there is a great problem today, and that is when we get what we want and we manage to serve, everything goes well, we have stability in all areas of our lives; It turns out that we got stuck. There comes a time when we no longer make that sacrifice to serve, we no longer have the same dedication, the same love, everything becomes routine.

 We lose that passion for doing things, we no longer serve when we want, but when we can, because the daily cares and commitments are one of the strategies that Satan uses to keep us occupied and away from God.

¨ So that you do not become lazy, but imitators of those who by faith and patience inherit the promises.¨ Hebrews 6:12 (Reina-Valera 1960).

We are too lazy to serve, we put over everything else that has nothing to do with Him, we no longer have time to go to church, we always have an excuse to not do what belongs to us, forgetting that God says in his word: "He changes the times and the times, puts and deposes kings. To the wise gives wisdom, and to the intelligent, discernment. ¨ Daniel 2:21 (New International Version).

We commit the grave error of believing that the place of privilege that God has given us in the church, we will have all our lives, no matter what we do. Well, let me remind you that this position, as he gave it to you, can be taken away from you if you are not diligent, nobody is indispensable in the work of the Lord, there will always be people more willing than us to serve you.

"Then you will return, and you will discern the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between the one who serves God and the one who does not serve him. ¨ Malachi 3:18 Reina-Valera 1960).

Let's take advantage of the blessings that God gives us, because another person can come who really values ​​them and we can lose them by not taking care of them, let's use the talents that the Lord has given us. Because the day will come when Our Father will ask us for accounts and that is where it will hurt us not to make the most of them.

May it not happen to us like Adam and Eve who lost everything that God had given them, for forgetting their true focus and for allowing themselves to be entangled by those around them, convincing them that there are better things than serving God. We can never equal our King and much less think that He needs us.

But there are also servants who are willing to go where God wants to send them, so we must always be ready.
