Wow... What a day!  It feels good to be relaxing on my mattress after what I consider to be a very eventful day. By the way, we are already 100 minutes into a new day. It's Sunday! Happy Sunday to y'all. Yeah, I especially love Sundays. While I look forward to what this Sunday has in store for me, I will be giving you a brief gist about the day that just came to an end. For the record, Saturday didn't feel like a day. It was like spending two days in a single day. "So Weird". Haha. ##### I will be honest while we are at it. > The fact that we can do so much in some days and do so little on other days, really, seriously, totally feels weird. Overlook the grammatical overkill ❌. So, the starting point of my eventful Saturday is that I woke up at an unusual hour. I usually rise from bed when it's still dark outside, but somehow, I ended up sleeping until 7:46 a.m. How cool is that? It could have been more, but the phone call I got from my Mum knocked me back to reality. That's how the day started for me. Now that I'm thinking of it, I don't remember taking any other call throughout today. Hehe. Just a bunch of voicemails and texting. After shaking off sleep from my eyes, I roughly drew a plan for the day and followed it up with action. Out of every event I got involved with on Saturday, the fact that I was able to cook a proper meal gives me a special sense of satisfaction. Rice and stew are best cooked on Sundays, but I did mine a day earlier. I was also able to take some time off and watch two football games. One in the English Premier League and the other in the African Cup of Nations. Way to go! To crown it all, I just finished cleaning up my house. It feels good to have done all these and much more. Guess what? It's time to go off!
