It's another European night and we got to see the second leg of some games in the quarter-finals of the European Champions League. The ones that were played yesterday produced some shocking results and nothing less is expected from the two games fixed for tonight. 

- Bayern Munich vs Arsenal

- Man City vs Real Madrid

Both sides had a draw from the first leg of this round of the competition. The games were filled with so much drama, intensity, and goal galore. However, a winner couldn't be decided in each of the gamess and since the Away goal margin no longer serves as an advantage, both teams would have to play a "winner takes it all" fixture in this second leg of the game.

#### <center>Bayern Munich vs Arsenal</center>

The game between Arsenal and Bayen was intensity-filled. Both sides pressed really well and the first half of the game was filled with a lot of goalscoring opportunities for each team. They got close, but couldn't score with each goalscoring opportunity. The first half ended in a draw and the aggregate scoreline remained 2 - 2. 

**Second Half...**

The second half was filled with a series of attacking pressure from Bayern. Arsenal did their best to keep their back tight, but Kimmich burst into their backline and won a bullet header in the 63rd minute of the game. That was enough to put Bayern ahead. This was immediately followed by a stinky miss by Leroy Sane. That could have easily put Bayern 2 goals ahead.

Arsenal pressed really hard to get themselves into a contending position, but nothing came out of their attempt. They couldn't convert their chances and ended up losing the game and subsequently getting knocked out of the Champions League. Now, they will have their eyes on challenging for the English Premier League.

#### <center>Man City vs Real Madrid</center>

Rodrygo broke the goalscoring deadlock for Real Madrid. The goal came from a counterattacking masterpiece. Ederson saved the first 1v1 chance but Rodrygo was in position for the rebound. He took the chance without any hesitation and put Real Madrid ahead before halftime.

The rest of the first half was filled with a series of good attacking play from both sides. Man City had their moments. The same goes for Real Madrid. Although, it felt like Real Madrid attacked with more precision. They also created more goalscoring opportunities for themselves before the halftime whistle.

**Second Half...**

The first goal of the second half was scored in the 76th minute of the game. The goal was an equalizer by Kevin Debruyne of Manchester City. This settles the aggregate at a 4 - 4 draw with just 15 minutes of normal game time remaining. Yeah! That's intense! The rest of the game ended with this exact scoreline.

**Extra-Time...**

As usual, each half of the extra time had 15 minutes of playtime for the teams to use as they pleased. Each of the teams pressed hard in the first half and had goalscoring opportunities. They couldn't make anything out of those chances from each half of the game. 

At this point, a lot of players were already playing with the last stray of their energy. Some also faced fatigue and injury. A couple of half-chances were created by each side for what was left of the game. But, it was almost self-evident that the winner would have to be decided through a penalty shootout. 

**Penalty Shootout...**

Alvarez stepped up for Man City to take the first penalty and nailed it like a boss.  Modric stepped up for Real Madrid's first penalty but bottled it. The rest of the penalty shootout was a rollercoaster ride but the win goes to Real Madrid who undoubtedly deserves it. Congrats to the lads.

All eyes will be on how Liverpool will perform against Atalanta in their Thursday night fixture.
