Makes me wonder about how the Bitconnect shills can show their face in public anymore. I literally can't fathom what kind of person would do that to so many people. However, part of me wants to tell people to do their own reading Kenn. The proof that this shit was shady AF was already out there. You also have done NUMEROUS posts showing how the earnings are bullshit without referrals.

It doesn't even make sense for them to continue the ICO if they're citing BAD PRESS as the reason why they're shutting down Bitconnect. As if something called Bitconnect "X" was something different. FOH.

I hope this is a lesson to everyone to NOT trust everyone they see on youtube promoting things. All it takes is a simple google search to start doing some reading. 

I don't think these people should be prosecuted, however. This gives credence for governments to get further in to crypto. Governments typically have a history of overstepping their boundaries.

Clever exit strategy where they pay everyone out in worthless BCC while retaining the BTC (which was likely exchanged for fiat). Plus the exit will be lost in the noise of the wider crypto crash!!

So glad it's over. So sick and tired of those promoting it on steemit and getting rewarded. Good riddance!!

Very happy, this was a threat for the reputation of crypto in general. BTW how many promoted the affiliate program of Bitconnect, this shows how trustworthy they are! Think twice before you believe these scammers!
