My Actifit Report Card: June 7 2023 - Your Brain, the Long and Short of it
I found 2 videos in my YouTube feed about our brains. One was a regular video and the other was a Short. The 53 minute video is a PBS NOVA Documentary called Your Brain: Who's in Control. They talk about conscious and unconscious brain activity. They illustrate their points bt discussing how sleepwalking works and how split brain people with a severed Corpus callosum behave. It's an educational video and you can watch it at 1.25x or 1.5x speed if you're short on time.

The YouTube Short features an amazing Audio Illusion where you'll heard the same sound two different ways depending on your expectations, how you have been primed to think about it. ## MY ACTIVITY
was just random daily movement around the house.  I did go out for a walk but the very bad air quality made me cut it short. We're under an Air Quality Alert here and it's the same in many places. How's the air quality by you?

I watched the Short three times. I the first time I followed Alex' instructions and I heard Brainstorm then Green Needle. Next I listened just for Brainstorm and heard that both times. Last I listened for Green Needle both times and heard it both times.  So I do agree that what we prime ourselves to perceive can influence what we do  perceive.

Maybe your accident helps you perceive "green candles" better than the rest of us!  Good luck in all your trades :)

Around here, an Air Quality Alert is an advisory warning to limit time outside, and is due to either particulate matter like smoke in the air or Ozone at ground level.
