## Intro

I've been thinking about how to "introduce" myself to the steemit community. My first thoughts were to tell you about my likes and dislikes and where I came from. I thought maybe my work or travels might hold your attention. Possibly a few funny stories about my family or my cat. Those things do mean a lot to me, but probably not as much to you.

## Dreams

The fact is my life is extraordinary. And so is yours. Each human life is a complex, messy, unique web of interactions. I want to help make the world into a better place. You could say that idea, mixed with my experience, is my dream. Dreams are part of what make us who we are, and who we want to be. They are the stuff of imagination and fancy, but also hope and accomplishment. Dreams come in many shapes and sizes, but the important thing is to always be dreaming. Keep going. Keep walking the road that doesn't end, one step after another.

Share your dreams with others, and build them together.

## Goodness

I believe life is best when we treat each other with respect and kindness. Yesterday I met a man on the street with one eye and one arm. He asked me for money and we shared a conversation. I learned a little about him and he learned a little about me. My hunch is that sometimes attention and respect are often more valuable then a few bucks.

Money can't buy you happiness, but love can.

## Knowledge

I love learning, investigating, and tinkering. I always want to talk about the latest thing I've discovered. Keep your mind curious and don't get discouraged by hard problems. We are all smart, but understanding is a process that takes time. There will always be more to learn, more to see, more to test, and more to discover.

Search for knowledge and wisdom but stay humble, there will always be something others can teach you.

## Me and You

So that's me. At least in a sense. It's how I try to live my life and what I believe. I don't know what you believe or how you live your life. I don't know if my life will affect yours. But your story is important to me, and I hope in some small way I can make it just a little bit better.
