Hi, I am probably one of the worst steemians here in that I am technologically challenged, use an ancient laptop and a very old android tablet and have very little time to spend online.  
Here is my current issue in short.  Although when I first was accepted here and issued a password,  I did back it up by copying and pasting it to a notepad on my laptop. I have since been unable to do anything with it.  I wanted to be able to use the tablet sometimes but since the tablet won't play videos on Firefox, I was forced to use Chrome. When I tried to copy and paste the password to chrome from an email I sent myself.  I got a message that it was an incorrect password.  I have tried numerous times and still have had no luck.  In fact the only reason I can type this is because Firefox saved the password for me and logs me in when I connect.  Only on the laptop though.  I cannot use the tablet for steemit at all.  I have tried to use Dtube by cannot log in there either.  
I am sure that this whole problem is of my own making, but I don't know how to correct.  
This probably seems funny to most normal people.  But I really am at a loss.  I am an old guy and not good at this stuff at all. Never even have had a smart phone. 
 Sometimes I wish I had a kid around to help me out but alas, I don't. 
I'm not really interested in making money. I don't understand how that works either. I just really don't want to lose contact with the people I have come to respect over the years when Youtube goes full censorship. People like James Corbett,  Berwick, Swann, HighImpactFlix, and so many others.  
Any suggestions? 
P.S.  I would have written the password on a piece of paper if it wasn't just a line of dots.  Plus I think I really screw things up when I tried to generate a new password awhile back.  
If I'm hopeless,  just tell me.  I can take it I guess.

Was it something I said? Am I invisible?  Please, someone at least reply to me so that I know this is working.

Okay,  I just discovered that I'm not invisible as someone replied to a comment I made on another post.  So, maybe it's just that no one has had time to reply.  

If someone could just tell me how to back up my password I would be very grateful.  
I tried to copy and paste but when I do it tells me that it's the wrong password.  I can seen nothing but dots so I can't write it down manually.  

I'm very sorry to be such a helpless pest.  But I really am afraid that if this old laptop dies, and it is likely to anytime as it's over ten years old, I am going to permanently lose access to my account.  That would really suck.  I am grateful that my account was approved and as I am getting older I can see myself spending more time here.  Especially as youtube is becoming such a censored and controlled environment.  
I may even have something of value to add once in a while.  
So, please help me out if you can.
