I guess my problem is that it always seems like a huge risk to act this way when the alternative is to basically play along without admitting guilt (I do love the idea of always responding "I do not understand" - that's awesome). But in the end, it's like,  the worse case here is to get a ticket and move on vs. if I resist, the worst case is being violently and brutally removed from my vehicle (or worse, killed).

I can see how the video / live stream aspect might help with that... but I dunno. Sometimes these things can sound a bit idealistic to me, if I am being honest, even though I respect and admire the intention.

Been down that road, pun intended.  you are right.. sometimes easier to pay the ticket.  Also there are people that know and travel without a driver license.  When you obtain and  sign  a Driver License you agree to certain things.  If possible sign without prejudice.  A friend of mine says overstood instead of understood.  

Also if you decide to take the Corporate Security Guard's ticket and pay it.  Mail in a check and make it over the amount, when they send the refund do not cash it.  Someone had a post in here that if you don't cash it they cannot put points against your Driver License.  I have never tested this, however it does make sense.

Are there any recent (1990+) court cases where the driver prevailed against the state? 

Law in this country is bullshit anymore, and it becomes whatever the holder of the gun tells you it is. What recourse do you have when the road pirate takes your life?

I have to say I really enjoyed this and am curious...............

I have been looking into this in the UK. Very interesting I started with the TV licence which apparently you are supposed to pay. A simple "I revoke your right to implied access" sorts that one out.

Annoyingly I do have enough knowledge to stop the hideous extortion for the council tax. I'd will have to do a Volg on it. I had to or agree to pay so now i'm stuffed as the were threatening my with court for £118 then added anther £100 say the forgot to put it on the bill. Ahhhh breath. Reading up and these vermin will get their just deserves :)
