Seleccione la imagen anterior de Pixabay, porque me hace recordar la historia que viví hace 12 años.
Todo empezó cuando estaba cerca de cumplir 15 años. Para ese entonces la situación económica en mi país no estaba tan golpeada por la inflación y el poder adquisitivo de las personas era más solido y representativo.
Para ese tiempo mi tía madrina, por parte de mi familia materna, es decir, la hermana de mi mamá, estaba muy emocionada por mi cumpleaños. Y me hizo la siguiente propuesta: viajar a Croacia con ella (País de nacimiento de mi abuelo) o realizar una fiesta de 15 años.
¿Y adivinen que decisión tome? Para ese entonces preferí la fiesta de 15 años. Todo por la sencilla razón de que tenía desde bebe que no viajaba en avión y me daba pánico viajar avión (todavía 😌) y estar encerrada por tanto tiempo en las cabinas.
Así que si pudiera viajar atrás en el tiempo y pudiera cambiar algo, sería el hecho de aceptar el Viaje y conocer a la familia de mi abuelo. Sin embargo, no me arrepiento porque la fiesta también me la goce y con el dinero de los regalos me compre mi primera Laptop.

It all started when I was close to 15 years old. At that time the economic situation in my country was not so hard hit by inflation and people's purchasing power was more solid and representative.
At that time my aunt godmother, on my mother's side of the family, that is, my mother's sister, was very excited about my birthday. And she made me the following proposal: travel to Croatia with her (my grandfather's country of birth) or have a 15th birthday party.
And guess what decision I made? At that time I preferred the 15th birthday party. All for the simple reason that I had since I was a baby that I didn't travel by plane and I was panicking about traveling by plane (still 😌) and being cooped up for so long in the cabins.
So if I could travel back in time and could change anything, it would be the fact of accepting the Trip and meeting my grandfather's family. However, I don't regret it because I also enjoyed the party and with the money from the gifts I bought my first Laptop.

Finalmente, pienso que a pesar de que en muchas ocasiones queríamos que las cosas en el pasado hubieran sido distintas, no hay que arrepentirse por eso. Ya que fue una decisión que tomamos en ese momento y hay que vivir tranquilos con eso, porque sino nos estaríamos torturando innecesariamente por una situación que ya no podemos cambiar. ¡Así que no vale la pena!
Así que mientras haya vida, hay esperanza y existen nuevas oportunidades para tomar mejores decisiones y ser felices.

Finally, I think that even though in many occasions we wanted things in the past to have been different, we should not regret it. It was a decision we made at that moment and we have to live with that, because otherwise we would be torturing ourselves unnecessarily for a situation that we can no longer change. So it is not worth it!
So while there is life, there is hope and there are new opportunities to make better decisions and be happy.
