In a river flow (a tribute)
![1.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/keuudeip/gSUqkNUb-1.jpg)

The introductory remarks by @naturalmedicine (Natural Medicine) for my post, ["In a water flow (2)"](https://peakd.com/hive-120078/@keuudeip/in-a-water-flow-2) in his curation touched me and moved me. On the issue of observing the beauty of nature can support a healing process both physically and mentally, in this case, the statement of Natural Medicine in the announcement of the curation, ["Tools To Deal With Hard Times - Spirit Guides, Ancient Songs, The power of Unity and much, much more!"](https://peakd.com/hive-120078/@naturalmedicine/tools-to-deal-with-hard-times-spirit-guides-ancient-songs-the-power-of-unity-and-much-much-more), I think, is absolutely correct and in its place. The concept of healing like that I believe has been practiced, easily found, and even I did it for myself both physically and mentally.

A simple example, when dizziness often attacks me due to air and noise pollution in an urban environment, I must immediately run to a more natural environment. Quiet beaches, or hills covered with low forests and bushes, are the places where I run to enjoy the atmosphere without pollution until dizziness disappears and the mind returns clear.

Some sports I think also rely heavily on the beauty of nature or comfort provided by nature through the green grassland and trees, natural water pools or lakes, calm clear rivers, waterfalls and rocks with their moss, and etcetera. It all proves that the natural scenery can support the process towards fitness and healing.

I am indebted to @naturalmedicine for reminding this side; the "healing through the simple practice of observing nature". I didn't think in that direction when I posted my content "In a water flow (2)"; I not only choose beautiful objects to photograph, but objects that I think are important to observe. I just want to express or show how nature (earth) is able to heal itself for damage caused by human hands. That is as long as humans are willing to give nature the time needed to do the healing, by stopping all forms of disturbance and destruction. Nature is able to restore and redesign the sides that have been damaged in harmony with or in accordance with the demands of the new reality after the damage. If humans want to be involved in this healing, they must support the workings of nature. I think this is also the main concept of permaculture in which human involvement is to support (supporting actors) in the sustainable development of nature through the development of sustainable agricultural ecosystems. So the first principle in permaculture is to observe. Observation is an obligation in this regard, so that it can produce a better understanding of nature and its work, as well as interacting, which by itself then, each person can perform his role in supporting the work of nature to heal itself. Among the most important things to be properly observed and understood is the ecosystem. Not everything that is beautiful in our view is good for nature (earth), and not everything that is bad in our view is bad for nature (earth). In essence, we cannot do a permaculture activity if we have not observed and gained a good understanding of the environment. In my previous post, I basically wanted to emphasize how nature healed itself by pointing out the case of a place where naturalness has been damaged by gravel mining. @naturalmedicine reminds me that there is another side: through observing nature, one can carry out the process of healing and fitness. Thanks for reminding this side.

Next, this is a simple post to appreciate the kind attitude of dear friend @riverflows, founder of Natural Medicine, for the good response to my post: In waterflow 1 & 2. And as @naturalmedicine reminded me about healing through natural observing exercises, which I was very encouraged by those words, this time, I really invite to that idea. Let's heal ourselves and respect life through observing nature. Today, I deliberately went to a river and its environment in Aceh (Sumatra). This is the main river in mainland Aceh, and carries its name: the Aceh River. I hope dear friend @riverflows and @naturalmedicine are pleased to consider this post as a tribute to them.

*(PS: I do not refuse rewards, but this post is not about that. It is more about expressing respect to dear friends, @riverflows and @naturalmedicine).*

So glad you commented on this post (to be honest, that's all I need). I just want to express a great appreciation and tribute, in the way that I can and as much as I can, for the various initiatives that you and Natural Medicine have done to remind the interests of nature and the natural environment that we live for our good today and in the future . This issue is about the fate of our common survival that needs to be realized and addressed with sanity and wisdom as well as controlled attitudes in exploiting natural resources. All thanks go to you and Natural Medicine.
